Cardinals Sign Jaylon Jones On Thursday
Kyler Murray. The former undrafted free agent out of Mississippi has 4.41-second 40-yard dash speed and will now head to the NFC West to give the Cardinals more depth for their secondary. Jones was a restricted free agent this offseason, but the Bears didn't tender him a contract in order to try and re-sign him. In his three seasons with the Bears, the 27-year-old defensive back totaled 85 tackles (64 solo), four pass breakups and a forced fumble in 41 games (five starts). Jones played in just eight games a season ago and finished the year on Injured Reserve due to a shoulder injury. He will likely continue to mostly be a factor on special teams in Arizona.Source: KPRC 2 Sports - Aaron Wilson
The Arizona Cardinals signed Chicago Bears free-agent cornerback Jaylon Jones (shoulder) to an undisclosed deal on Thursday, according to KPRC's Aaron Wilson. Jones will reunite him with high-school teammate Kyler Murray Excited For 2025

Simi Fehoko Signing With Cardinals
Simi Fehoko on Friday. The two sides agreed on a one-year deal for an undisclosed amount of money. Fehoko is a former fifth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys who spent each of the last two seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers. Last season, Fehoko hauled in six receptions for 106 yards in eight games, which was a career-high for him. This move is mainly to add depth at wideout and give the Cardinals another option on special teams. Fantasy managers can continue to ignore Fehoko on draft day.Source: Aaron Wilson
The Arizona Cardinals have reached an agreement with free-agent wide receiver Dalvin Tomlinson Gets Two-Year Deal From Cardinals
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Free-agent defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson is signing a two-year, $29 million deal with $16 million guaranteed with the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday night, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It didn't take Tomlinson long to latch on with another team after he was cut by the Cleveland Browns on Monday. The 31-year-old veteran defensive lineman will now head to the NFC West to help a Cardinals defense that had a non-existent pass rush in 2024. Although Tomlinson should be a starter for Arizona on the interior of their defensive line, he probably won't boost their pass rush all that much. He started in 16 games apiece in each of the last two years for Cleveland and totaled six sacks while also adding 54 tackles (25 solo), 10 tackles for loss and 30 QB hits. The former second-rounder by the New York Giants in 2017 out of Alabama has a modest 19 sacks in eight NFL seasons over 125 games started.Cardinals Tender Greg Dortch
Greg Dortch on Wednesday night. If Dortch signs the tender, he'll cost the team $3.3 million for the 2025 season. The Cardinals now have the right to match any offer that he receives from another team in free agency. The 25-year-old pass-catcher has been with the Cardinals each of the last four seasons and has caught 116 of his 158 targets in that time for 1,104 yards and seven touchdowns in 54 games (14 starts). In 17 games (four starts) in 2024, he had 37 receptions on 50 targets for 342 yards and a career-high three touchdowns. While Dortch's numbers aren't eye-popping for fantasy managers by any means, he's had a key role in the desert and has been durable, only missing two regular-season games. Depending on what the Cardinals do in the draft, Dortch figures to open the 2025 season as the team's No. 3 wideout.Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban
The Arizona Cardinals tendered an offer to restricted free-agent wide receiver Jacoby Brissett Plans To Sign With Cardinals
Jacoby Brissett plans to sign with the Arizona Cardinals, a source tells ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Brissett, who spent last year with the New England Patriots, will become the new backup to starter Kyler Murray in Arizona. Eleven of Brissett's 53 career starts have come with new Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing as his quarterbacks coach in Cleveland. The 32-year-old Brissett started the 2024 season as the Patriots' starter under center as they waited on first-rounder Drake Maye. In his eight appearances (five starts), Brissett struggled in a lackluster offense without many weapons, going 95-for-161 (59%) with 826 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception as a low-ceiling game manager. He is a respected veteran backup, but the Cardinals offense will be in trouble if Murray misses time with an injury in 2025.Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler
Free-agent quarterback Zay Jones Signing Back With Cardinals
Zay Jones to a one-year, $4.4 million deal, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. The 29-year-old signed with Arizona last May but was suspended for the team's first five games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. Overall, he played in 11 contests and totaled eight receptions for 84 yards. In addition to the Cardinals, Jones has spent time with the Buffalo Bills, Las Vegas Raiders, and Jacksonville Jaguars during his eight-year NFL career. He has posted more than 600 receiving yards just once in his career, so it would be a surprise if he's on the fantasy football radar in 2025.Source: Jordan Schultz

The Arizona Cardinals re-signed offensive guard Evan Brown to a two-year deal worth $11.5 million on Monday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Brown was a valuable part of the Cardinals' offensive line last year and started in all 17 regular-season games. The 28-year-old former undrafted free agent out of SMU has already played with six different teams in his six years in the NFL. He debuted in 2019 with the New York Giants but also played with the Miami Dolphins that same season. Brown has also bounced around with the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks before finding a home in the desert. He should be the starter at left guard again heading into the 2025 regular season. Bringing Brown back is good news for quarterback Josh Sweat, Cardinals Agree On Four-Year Deal
Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter
Free-agent linebacker Josh Sweat and the Arizona Cardinals reached an agreement on Monday on a four-year deal worth $76.4 million, including $41 million guaranteed, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal was negotiated by agent Drew Rosenhaus. Sweat will head to the desert after seven seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. The former fourth-round pick (130th overall) in 2018 out of Florida State was a Pro Bowler in 2021 and had a career-high 11 sacks in 16 starts in 2022. In 2024, Sweat finished with 41 tackles (27 solo), eight sacks, nine tackles for loss, 15 QB hits and two pass breakups in 16 regular-season games (15 starts). The 27-year-old pass-rusher added 2.5 sacks in the Super Bowl victory over the Chiefs and has six-plus sacks in five straight seasons. It is a much-needed addition to a Cardinals pass rush that didn't put much heat on opposing quarterbacks in 2024.Cardinals Re-Sign Baron Browning To Two-Year Deal
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
The Arizona Cardinals re-signed pass-rusher Baron Browning to a two-year deal on Sunday, sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Browning receives $15 million in base salary over the next two years with upside to make as much as $19 million through incentives. The 26-year-old linebacker was acquired by Arizona from the Denver Broncos last November and he had 14 tackles (11 solo), two sacks and four tackles for loss in eight games (one start) for the Cardinals to close out the 2024 season. The former third-round pick by the Broncos in 2021 out of Ohio State will likely be a situational pass-rushing linebacker for the Cardinals again in 2025 in his first full season with the team. In his four years in the NFL, Browning has a total of 128 tackles (77 solo), 11.5 sacks, 19 tackles for loss, 25 QB hits, one interception, six pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 51 games (29 starts).Roy Robertson-Harris Visiting With Cardinals
Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero
Former Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris is visiting with the Arizona Cardinals, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Robertson-Harris landed on the open market earlier this week when the Seahawks released him on Tuesday. The 31-year-old veteran is now free to sign with any team. Seattle acquired him midway through last season in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he finished with 13 tackles (five solo) in 11 games with the Seahawks. The former undrafted free agent made his NFL debut in 2017 with the Chicago Bears and spent the first four years of his career in the Windy City before joining the Jaguars. In his eight years in the NFL, Robertson-Harris has 211 tackles (122 solo), 19 sacks, 27 tackles for loss, 67 QB hits, 14 pass breakups and a fumble recovery in 117 games (62 solo). The Cardinals were among the worst teams in terms of pass rush in 2024.Cardinals Inquiring About Trey Hendrickson
Source: PHNX Sports - Johnny Venerable
The Arizona Cardinals have inquired about Cincinnati Bengals All-Pro defensive end Trey Hendrickson, a source told PHNX Sports' Johnny Venerable. Hendrickson still has one year left on his current deal with the Bengals, but last year's NFL sack leader wants a new deal. The Bengals gave the 30-year-old veteran permission to seek a trade this week, and plenty of teams figure to be interested. In addition to Arizona, the Washington Commanders and Atlanta Falcons are expected to have interest in the All-Pro pass-rusher this offseason. The Cardinals make a lot of sense, as their defense ranked 15th in the league in sacks per game. Wherever Hendrickson is playing in 2025, he'll be one of the first players taken in IDP fantasy drafts. The former third-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in 2017 out of Florida Atlantic has made the Pro Bowl each of the last four seasons and has 17.5 sacks in each of the last two years.Cardinals Have High Hopes For Trey Benson

Cardinals Plan To Be Active In Free Agency
Trey McBride. Arizona didn't make the playoffs in 2024 but managed to double their win total from the previous season. In addition to locking up McBride long term, don't be surprised if the Cardinals give quarterback Kyler Murray more help in the passing game alongside McBride and former first-rounder Marvin Harrison Jr.Source: AZCardinals.com - Zach Gershman
Arizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort and owner Michael Bidwell said that the team plans to be active in free agency this offseason with more than $76 million available in salary cap space, according to Over The Cap. It's the fourth-most cap space available of any NFL team. "We're going to look for every avenue to improve the team, but we have to be smart about not only this year's team, but as we build for the future and our own players that we want to extend," Ossenfort said. The Cardinals will also continue working on a contract extension for Pro Bowl tight end Jalen Thompson A Potential Cap Casualty
Source: The Athletic - Doug Haller
The Athletic's Doug Haller writes that the Arizona Cardinals don't have an obvious potential salary cap casualty on their roster this offseason with the fourth-most available cap space ($71.3 million), per Over The Cap, but safety Jalen Thompson could be a possibility. Thompson has been a starter for most of his six seasons and has been dependable, but he's also entering the final year of his current contract, and the Cardinals locked up Budda Baker last December. In addition, Arizona drafted Dadrion Taylor-Demerson in the fourth round in 2024. Releasing Thompson would save the Cardinals almost $6.6 million in cap space this year. The 26-year-old was pretty productive in 2024 in his sixth year in the NFL, recording 98 tackles (61 solo), three tackles for loss, three pass breakups and two fumble recoveries in 15 starts, but he didn't have an interception for the first time since 2020.
