Injury Status: Healthy
Houston wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will look to start producing a bit more for his new team after the team had its bye in Week 8. Since being traded to the Texans, Harrison has eight targets, but just four catches for 40 yards. His lone catch in Week 7 against the Giants was a touchdown, so that's maybe another reason why his fantasy value is rising a bit. Harrison logged just 12 offensive snaps in Week 6, then played 13 snaps in Week 7. It's fair to assume his playing time and role could improve now that he's been around the team for several weeks. Harrison is still only WR66 in our RotoBaller Week 9 projections. He has a pretty average fantasy matchup coming against the Chargers, but until he produces more on the field, he's just a deep-league option.

Marvin Harrison Jr. 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Breakout Season Incoming with New Coaching Staff in Arizona?
Since being selected fourth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has struggled to live up to the hype he received as a prospect. Since being selected fourth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has struggled to live up to the hype he received as a prospect. The 23-year-old ran into a string of poor injury luck in 2025, suffering a concussion and missing time due to appendicitis before finally being placed on season-ending Injured Reserve with heel and foot issues. Still, Harrison Jr. was not particularly effective when on the field, recording 41 receptions for 608 yards and four touchdowns on 73 targets across 12 games. By the time he went out for the year, Harrison Jr. had fallen to the number three target in Arizona behind superstar tight end Trey McBride and breakout wide receiver Michael Wilson. The Cardinals overhauled their coaching staff over the offseason, which could help provide Harrison Jr. with a much-needed fresh start. However, the young wideout admitted during OTAs that he's still feeling the effects of last season's injuries. While Harrison Jr. also said he did not think the injury issues would linger into the regular season, the fact that he might not be fully healthy entering a critical training camp is a bit alarming. Harrison Jr. remains a high-upside wide receiver and could be a worthy buy-low target for fantasy managers, but he should be viewed as a boom/bust WR3/flex option in redraft formats heading into 2026. Update 8/23/2026 -  Harrison has played at full strength in both training camp and the preseason, suggesting he is past these noted injuries.less...
