In the first round, Brown looked to establish his jab, and he was able to land a few good combinations on Bonfim, who answered with leg kicks. However, in the second round, Brown ducked his head at the same time Bonfim threw a knee, which resulted in Brown getting knocked down and the referee stopping the fight. Brown protested referee Mark Smith's stoppage immediately, but the replay showed that the referee made the right decision. In 6:40 of action, Brown landed 33 significant strikes. Gabriel Bonfim extended his win streak by beating Randy Brown via second-round TKO in the main event of UFC Vegas 111 on Saturday. After landing a few calf kicks on Brown, Bonfim started throwing combinations that caused Brown to duck his head. Bonfim then landed a knee right up the middle that floored Brown, and as Browns eyes rolled back, the referee Mark Smith decided to stop the fight. It was an impressive show of grappling from Morales, who got the biggest victory of his career on Saturday. Schnell landed a takedown, but Morales quickly reversed and got into a side control. "Danger" tried to get out of the compromising situation, but then Morales changed to the crucifix position. Morales then sank in a guillotine choke, forcing Schnell to tap out. Muslim Salikhov suffered a first-round TKO loss to Uros Medic on the main card of UFC Vegas 111 on Saturday. Salikhov won three consecutive fights before Medic snapped his win streak. However, in this fight, Salikhov couldn't get his offense going in time, as Medic only needed 63 seconds to finish Salikhov. Medic caught Salikhov with a perfect left hand that sent Salikhov crashing to the canvas. Bonfim came out guns blazing in the opening round, but Padilla weathered the storm and started to put pressure on Bonfim. After getting hurt by an elbow, Bonfim tried to survive by grabbing Padilla's leg; however, Padilla started punishing Bonfim, who was on the mat, landing brutal shots to the ear as Bonfim covered up. Chris Padilla extended his win streak by defeating Ismael Bonfim via second-round TKO on the main card of UFC Vegas 111 on Saturday. Padilla found himself in trouble early in the first round as Bonfim was able to land some solid strikes early on, but it didn't take Padilla long to take control. Padilla started to wear on Bonfim, who gassed out halfway through the second stanza. An ending sequence ensued when Padilla struck Bonfim with an elbow, forcing Bonfim to grab Padilla's leg. Padilla then unleashed a series of ground strikes, forcing the referee to stop the fight. In 9:30 of action, Padilla landed 64 significant strikes.
