Celtics Sign and Waive Hank Morgan
The Boston Celtics signed and waived forward Hank Morgan, according to the NBA's official transaction log. The move was almost certainly Exhibit 10 housekeeping, making Morgan eligible for a bonus worth up to $91,000 if he reports to the Maine Celtics, Boston's G-League affiliate. The 24-year-old went undrafted out of Division III Hamilton College in 2025 and split his first pro season between the Salt Lake City Stars and Maine, averaging 8.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 19.2 minutes across 17 games with the Celtics while shooting 43.8 percent from deep. He also logged four Summer League appearances for Boston. Morgan has no redraft value, but the move keeps Boston's camp flexibility intact while the team reportedly shows interest in Devin Carter after his Atlanta waiver.
