Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (Achilles) won't be in the lineup for a fifth consecutive game on Sunday against the Boston Celtics. The veteran is struggling to shake off soreness in his left Achilles tendon. Kris Murray's workload has recently increased as Grant's replacement in the starting lineup, but his fantasy production has been disappointing at 7.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game. Sidy Cissoko has played more off the bench during Grant's absence.--Taavi Pailk

Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski (abdomen) is considered probable for Sunday's matchup against the Toronto Raptors. He has sustained a left abdominal contusion, but this likely won't keep Podziemski off the court. The 22-year-old has had his most consistent stretch of the season lately, finishing with double-digit points in five consecutive games. He has averaged 14.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists during that stretch, logging nearly 30 minutes per game despite coming off the bench.--Taavi Pailk

Toronto Raptors center Jakob Poeltl (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's clash against the Golden State Warriors. He will miss a third consecutive game due to a lower back strain. Overall, Poeltl has played in only one of the last five games because of his back issue, and even then, he was limited to seven minutes. Sandro Mamukelashvili has enjoyed a strong stretch during Poeltl's injury woes and has a chance to post a second consecutive double-double on Sunday. For a second straight game, Toronto's frontcourt may also be without Collinn Murray-Boyles (illness), who is considered questionable.--Taavi Pailk

Toronto Raptors guard/forward RJ Barrett (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's encounter with the Golden State Warriors. After missing time because of a knee sprain, the Canadian star practiced fully on Friday and could return from a 15-game absence on Sunday afternoon. With Barrett returning, Ochai Agbaji will move back to the bench, and Ja'Kobe Walter may also see his role reduced. However, Barrett likely won't play his usual minutes in his first game back from injury and thus won't offer full fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk

Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George (knee) is listed as probable for Sunday's matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. While George has managed a knee injury throughout the campaign, he has begun to play regularly, missing only one of the last eight games. In his most recent three appearances, George has struggled badly to hit shots, going 12-for-39 from the field. Scoring won't be easy against his former team either, as the Thunder hold the NBA's best defensive rating.--Taavi Pailk

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (ankle) will be absent on Sunday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has been ruled out due to a sprained right ankle, while the former MVP also continues to manage a right knee injury. Embiid's exit from the lineup is a signal for fantasy managers to hop back on the Andre Drummond train. This season, he has delivered solid performances when starting in place of Embiid, averaging 10.1 points and 11.9 rebounds.--Taavi Pailk

New York Knicks forward Josh Hart (ankle) was already ruled out for Saturday's meeting with Atlanta. He tweaked his ankle during the win over the Cavs on Christmas. Unfortunately, Hart's absence will extend beyond Saturday's contest, with Stefan Bondy of the New York Post reporting that the 30-year-old will miss at least the upcoming games in New Orleans and San Antonio before being re-evaluated. Hart has played as well as expected throughout the 2025 campaign, averaging 12.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.4 steals. Mohamed Diawara is in line to start on Saturday, although that trend might continue for the remainder of the road trip. However, Tyler Kolek and Jordan Clarkson should benefit the most while Hart is sidelined.--Dennis Clausen

Utah Jazz forward/center Kevin Love (rest) won't play on Saturday night against the San Antonio Spurs. The team has begun resting the veteran in back-to-back situations, and Love is getting Saturday off after a 14-point, five-rebound performance in 16 minutes in Friday's victory over the Detroit Pistons. Love's absence creates more playing opportunities for Kyle Filipowski, who was limited to 11 minutes against Detroit. However, with Jusuf Nurkic available and starting, Filipowski may still struggle to produce fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk

Utah Jazz guard/forward Ace Bailey (hip) will miss his first career game on Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs. He injured his left hip during Friday's win over the Detroit Pistons, exiting the action after logging 11 minutes. The 19-year-old rookie made his 21st consecutive start on Friday night. On Saturday, Bailey will be replaced in the first unit by Brice Sensabaugh, who impressed in Friday's win with a 20-point effort.--Taavi Pailk

New York Knicks forward Mohamed Diawara will start in Saturday's meeting with the Atlanta Hawks. Josh Hart (ankle) will miss the next few games, at the very least, after tweaking his ankle in the Christmas win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Diawara has started once this season, amassing five points, three boards, and one steal. He's not expected to be more productive than that, with the Knicks likely leaning more on Tyler Kolek and Jordan Clarkson to fill the void in the rotation.--Dennis Clausen

Milwaukee Bucks guard/forward Gary Trent Jr. (calf) will be absent for a second straight game on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls. The veteran suffered a calf contusion in Tuesday's win over the Indiana Pacers and landed on the shelf Friday night against the Memphis Grizzlies. Trent Jr. was initially listed as questionable for Saturday's action, so he shouldn't miss too much time. Giannis Antetokounmpo's (calf) return on Saturday will have a major impact on Milwaukee's rotation, but Trent Jr's absence should guarantee large roles for AJ Green and Ryan Rollins.--Taavi Pailk

Miami Heat forward/center Bam Adebayo (back) won't play on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers, marking his second-straight absence. It's unknown if he'll suit up on Monday night versus Denver. However, while Adebayo is sidelined, Kel'el Ware (quadriceps), who is available, Normal Powell, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. should also continue to benefit on both ends of the floor. Pelle Larsson, who had 21 points as a starter in Friday's win over the Atlanta Hawks, should also remain more involved.--Dennis Clausen

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (quadriceps) will play on Saturday night against the New York Knicks. Young only recently returned from injury, but the team is comfortable with him playing on back-to-back nights. On Friday, Young's efforts in 32 minutes resulted in 30 points, two rebounds, six assists, and one steal in a heavy loss to the Miami Heat. The Knicks have posted strong defensive numbers against point guards this season, meaning Young could have a difficult night.--Taavi Pailk

Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas (hamstring) will play on Saturday against Minnesota. He hasn't been on the floor in nearly two months, so he'll presumably see fewer than the 28.3 minutes he averaged before suffering the hamstring strain. However, despite the chance of a reduced workload, Thomas is a must-start in all fantasy setups. It's unknown how his presence will impact others, although his return could severely decrease the statistical contributions of Michael Porter Jr., who has averaged a career-high 25.7 points.--Dennis Clausen

Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) has been officially cleared to play on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls. He is ready to end a seven-game absence after the team initially listed Antetokounmpo as questionable on the injury report. The former MVP likely won't see his full workload on Saturday night, but he doesn't need to log heavy minutes to make a fantasy impact. Bobby Portis, Jericho Sims, and Kyle Kuzma are set to lose minutes with Antetokounmpo's return, while Kevin Porter Jr.'s offensive usage might suffer.--Taavi Pailk
