Antonio Senzatela is Placed on the 15-Day Injured List with a Blister
The Colorado Rockies placed right-handed pitcher Antonio Senzatela (finger) on the 15-day injured list with a right middle finger blister. The designation to the injured list comes one day after he was shelled for eight earned runs in 2/3 of an inning against the Pirates. It is unclear if his blistered finger was the reason for his recent struggles, but he will miss at least two weeks of action nonetheless. Over 103 innings pitched this season, the 30-year-old has posted a 7.34 ERA, a 1.91 WHIP, all while striking out just 55 batters. He can remain on the waiver wire in most leagues.
