Trevor Lawrence has Solid Outing Against Steelers
Trevor Lawrence completed six of seven passes for 43 yards in a 31-25 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lawrence played just one drive, completing his six passes to five different receivers. With new weapons entering the fold and an offensive-minded coaching staff being brought in, the Clemson product could be in for a bounce-back season from a statistical perspective. Last year as a whole was rough for the Jaguars, but the team has the talent, especially on offense, to have a much better year. Lawrence didn't push the ball down the field much in his first preseason game, so it will be worth keeping tabs on him during preseason to see if that becomes a trend. However, with two supreme athletes in Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter on the outside, it is hard to imagine he won't push the ball down the field more as the season progresses.
