Freddie Freeman Out Wednesday With Neck Stinger
Freddie Freeman (neck) is dealing with a stinger and is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale against the visiting Cincinnati Reds, according to manager Dave Roberts. However, with an off day coming on Thursday, the plan is for Freeman to be back in the lineup for Friday's series opener against the division-rival Arizona Diamondbacks. The 35-year-old former MVP and nine-time All-Star continues to be one of the best all-around hitters in baseball in 2025 and is hitting .319 (29-for-91) with seven home runs, seven doubles, 19 RBI and 15 runs scored for fantasy managers in 24 games in August. Freeman currently leads the league with a .302 batting average overall and is a must-start whenever he's on the field in fantasy. Enrique Hernandez is at first and batting fifth on Wednesday against Reds left-hander Nick Lodolo.
