Brian Thomas Jr. Quiet in Limited Game Time
Brian Thomas Jr. finished with just one catch for eight yards in a 31-25 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Thomas Jr. proved plenty in his rookie season last year, no matter who was throwing him the ball. That means he doesn't have anything to show the new coaching staff, meaning it is hard to imagine him getting much playing time throughout preseason. What is more interesting to keep in mind is how his target share will look this season with second-overall pick Travis Hunter entering the mix. The offense overall should be better this year which should help Thomas Jr. out, but it could also be more balanced with more weapons to get involved. Either way, Thomas Jr. should be in for a huge year, no matter how quiet his preseason turns out to be.
