Spencer Torkelson Breaks Out of Slump
Spencer Torkelson has been in an ugly slump, but was able to do some damage with the bat on Thursday. Before this game, Torkelson was 2-for-27 over his last seven games prior to Thursday's contest. He got the scoring started with a solo home run off left-hander Jeffrey Springs in the second inning. He would finish this game 2-for-4 with one home run, one RBI, and two runs scored in the win. The slump has certainly hurt his overall numbers, but Torkelson is still putting up his best season of his career. Fantasy managers should continue to hold him through his mid-season slump.
