Jameis Winston a QB2 for Season Debut in Week 11 Against Packers
New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston is set to make his first start of the season in Week 11 against the Green Bay Packers, filling in for an injured Jaxson Dart (concussion). Winston will get the start over Russell Wilson as he is demoted to QB3. The former first overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft takes over at the helm with interim head coach Mike Kafka after Brian Daboll was fired earlier this week. Winston produced his standard numbers in seven games as a starter in Cleveland last season, completing 61.1% of his passes for 2,121 yards with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. The 31-year-old will be without one of New York's top wideouts in Darius Slayton (hamstring), in a stiff test against a stout Green Bay Packers defense that has allowed the second-fewest net yards per pass attempt (5.1) this season. Winston provides plenty of volatility in a given week, and he'll project as a low-end QB2 for Week 11.
