Brian Thomas Jr. a WR2 With Upside in Week 4
Brian Thomas Jr. (wrist) has been a massive disappointment so far this season, and should be viewed as a WR2 until he proves otherwise. The wrist injury may be part of it, but this week at least he has had full participation in practice. He is too talented of a player to consider benching, but he hasn't earned WR1 status yet. The Jaguars also have been inconsistent on offense and the San Francisco 49ers have a solid defense, so this isn't a prime game for Thomas Jr. to breakout and get out of his funk. The second-year receiver is always capable of having a huge game based on his stellar rookie season, but for now, fantasy managers should refrain from getting their hopes up too high.
