Emerson Hancock Tosses Seven Shutout Innings
Emerson Hancock shut out the Guardians over seven innings in a 6-0 win on Sunday. He allowed two hits and a walk and struck out four. This was his sixth straight start of allowing three or fewer runs, and this was the longest of the bunch. Only one other start in that span was at least six innings in length. The 26-year-old's lack of efficiency has led to a 4.48 ERA and 1.38 WHIP in 2025, with only 45 strikeouts and 21 walks through 62 ⅓ innings. He'll look to build on this momentum in his next start, which is lined up to be a tough matchup against the Cubs.
