Zyhir Hope in Slump at High-A
Zyhir Hope has hit a bit of a slump at the plate at High-A Great Lakes. Over his last seven games, the budding star has gone just 1-for-24 at the plate with one run and one RBI. During this stretch, Hope has struck out nine times, drawn six walks, and swiped three bags. However, before this stretch, Hope held an impressive .290/.392/.629 slash line with four doubles, five home runs, and a 1.021 OPS over his last 17 games. Overall, Hope has enjoyed a very productive campaign at High-A, posting an .850 OPS through a 96-game stint. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his progression as he continues to climb prospect boards, now sitting as the No. 36 on MLB Pipeline. He is a strong stash in dynasty leagues even though he is likely two seasons away from his MLB debut.
