Hideki Matsuyama Finding Form Heading to 3M Open
Hideki Matsuyama finished tied for 14th at last week's Open Championship and will now focus on preparing for this week's 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. So far this season, Matsuyama has nine top-25 finishes and no missed cuts in 17 starts. He last played in the 3M Open in 2023, finishing tied for 30th. Over the past 12 months, Matsuyama ranks in the 62nd percentile in greens in regulation on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is important because over 37% of approach shots at last year's 3M Open came from this distance.
