Vikings D/ST Middle of the Pack Against Commanders
Now that the biggest question facing the Minnesota Vikings defense/special teams has been answered -- they will see the return of Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow) in Week 14 -- they can be considered a slightly above-average fantasy play for the week. Washington is third in the league in rushing yards per game and figures to see a boost with Daniels, whose mobility can change games. Encouragingly for Minnesota, second-year edge rusher Dallas Turner has played the best football of his young career during the past three weeks with 12 pressures and four sacks, and the team's pass rush has been excellent overall. Minnesota ranks third in the NFL in pressure percentage, seventh in yards per play allowed, and they've played well as of late, but the team's bottom-of-the-barrel offense has the highest turnover percentage in the league, which is negatively affecting the defense's fantasy performance. The Vikings have some potential, but managers will have to consider the full picture before starting them.
