Odell Beckham Jr. Plans to Play in 2026
Free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has received renewed interest from NFL teams after his showing at Tom Brady's Fanatics flag football game, and he "fully intends to play" in 2026, sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Beckham was "one of the most impressive players on the field" during the flag football game. The 33-year-old veteran served a six-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs in 2025 and never latched on with an NFL team. In his last year in 2024 with the Miami Dolphins, OBJ looked washed up, catching just nine of 18 targets for 55 yards and no touchdowns, although he was also well behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in the WR pecking order. Since the start of the 2022 season, Beckham has played in only 23 games (six starts) and has 44 catches for 620 yards and three touchdowns with Miami and Baltimore. If he does return to the league in 2026, Beckham will be fighting an uphill battle for fantasy relevance as a likely depth option at wideout.
