Baseball fans got to see several new game features in Tuesday's All-Star Game, with the National League team winning a 6-6 tie on a 4-3 home run swing-off. The American League team scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning to tie the game and held the score in the bottom half, forcing a HR swing-off. Each team had three players who got three swings each, with the winning team being the one with the most HR. The AL team led off with HR Derby participant Brent Booker, who hit two HR in three swings. The NL team led off with Kyle Stowers, who hit one. Randy Arozarena put the AL team up 3-1, and Kyle Schwarber went 3-for-3 to put the NL team up 4-3. Jonathan Aranda went 0-for-3 in the top of the third, sealing the win for the NL team. The game also featured the automated ball-strike challenge system, which was used to overturn a missed strikeout call.--Connelly Doan
