Luis Pena Swinging a Hot Bat at Low-A
Luis Pena has been swinging a hot bat at Low-A. Over his last seven games since returning from a concussion, the No.9-ranked prospect in the system has posted an impressive .407/.422/.778 slash line with two triples, two home runs, and three stolen bases. Before missing time with a concussion, Pena was just as productive holding a strong .327/.400/.505 line with seven doubles, three home runs, and an impressive 21 stolen bases through 25 contests. Last summer, Pena made his professional debut in the Dominican Summer League and posted a .393/.457/.583 line through 44 games. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression as he is developing into one of the top young prospects in the sport. Pena could be in the mix to reach High-A later this season.
