Jefferson Rojas Tallies Two Triples on Tuesday
Jefferson Rojas went 2-for-5 with two triples and a run scored on Tuesday for High-A South Bend. It marked the third multi-hit game in his last five, going 8-for-22 (.364) over that stretch and pushed his season-long slash line to .298/.388/.496, including six doubles, four triples, and four home runs. The 20-year-old has also recorded seven steals this season after tallying 21 last year at the same level. Now with 130 games under his belt at High-A with improved year-over-year walk and swinging-strike rates, look for the Cubs' sixth-ranked prospect to get a look at Double-A in the near future. The Dominican should be knocking on the door to the majors at some point in 2026, and with solid hit, power, and run tools, even redraft managers should get to know his name.
