Jefferson Rojas Fills Up the Stat Sheet on Tuesday
Jefferson Rojas went 2-for-5 with two singles, two RBI, a run scored, and a pair of stolen bases on Tuesday for High-A South Bend. The Cubs' fourth-ranked prospect has been hitting well all season, now batting .284 with 10 doubles, four triples, and five home runs along with 11 steals in 51 games. A 13.7 percent walk rate has helped him to a .388 OBP, and he's striking out at a better-than-average rate of 16.7 percent. Now with 147 games at High-A under his belt between 2024 and 2025, a move to Double-A shouldn't be far off, and he continues to stay on track to potentially make an MLB debut sometime next year.
