Parker Washington Won't Suit Up Sunday

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington (hip) will be inactive for Sunday's game with the visiting Indianapolis Colts. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the news. The 23-year-old was forced from Week 13's 25-3 win over the Titans with a hip injury, causing him to miss Wednesday's practice and log only limited sessions over the ensuing two days. Despite being deemed questionable, it appears Jacksonville will be without its top statistical pass-catcher. While Washington is shelved, teammates Brian Thomas Jr. and Jakobi Meyers figure to lead the team's WR corps, with the former likely to be near a full snap share as he's further removed from an ankle injury. Austin Trammell and Tim Patrick will mix in behind them.--Alex Ciulla
