Better Days Ahead For Vikings' Passing Attack?
Health has been part of the problem for the Minnesota Vikings this season, but head coach Kevin O'Connell said left tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee) and right tackle Brian O'Neill (knee) ended up "in a really positive place healthwise" after beating Detroit. The offensive line has been a major issue this season, as the Vikings have played multiple games with as many as four starters missing from the offensive line. Through eight games, the team's 11.9% sack rate is the worst in the league. But with its pair of tackles finally getting healthy, there is some hope Minnesota can cut down on drive-killing negative plays. Improved health from its top tackles could translate to a better passing game, which means a better prognosis for quarterback J.J. McCarthy, receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, and tight end T.J. Hockenson for fantasy purposes.
