Seahawks Sign Charles Cross to Four-Year Extension
The Seattle Seahawks have signed offensive tackle Charles Cross (hamstring) to a four-year contract extension worth $104.4 million, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. It's the largest non-quarterback deal in Seahawks history. The extension pays him a sum of $40.5 million in Year 1, and it averages out to $26.1 million per year. Cross was a first-round pick out of Mississippi State in 2022. He has started all 62 games since being drafted, including 14 this season. He missed Seattle's final three regular-season games due to a hamstring injury, but the team was still willing to make a substantial financial commitment that keeps him in tow through 2030. According to Pro Football Focus, Cross allowed two sacks, 18 hurries, and 24 pressures this year. He has a 73.2 PFF grade, as well as a 76.9 pass-blocking grade.
