Kenley Jansen To Be Available Tuesday After Cramping On Monday
Kenley Jansen (pectoral, neck) said after Monday's 9-5 win over the Red Sox that he will be available to pitch on Tuesday, per MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger. Jansen threw just four pitches in Monday's outing before exiting with pectoral and neck cramping. His velocity was down three MPH, but, fortunately, it sounds as though any serious injuries were avoided. The veteran last pitched last Friday and barely pitched in Monday's game, so he could conceivably make an appearance in Tuesday's game as long as he is feeling healthy.
