The Los Angeles Angels scratched outfielder Jo Adell (illness) from Monday's lineup against the Minnesota Twins after he began experiencing vertigo symptoms. Adell has been in the midst of a breakout season, slashing .243/.303/.507 with 35 home runs while emerging as a key power threat in the middle of the order. His absence leaves the Angels without one of their most productive bats, and rookie Matthew Lugo will take his place in right field while batting seventh. Lugo has struggled in limited action, hitting just .213/.226/.475 over 27 games, offering minimal fantasy upside against Simeon Woods-Richardson tonight.--Shaun Albin
