Rams Want Puka Nacua to Stick Around for a "Really Long Time"
The Los Angeles Rams remain confident in star wide receiver Puka Nacua, who is in line for a lucrative contract extension, despite some poor judgment he has recently displayed off the field. "You guys know, I trust this kid's heart," head coach Sean McVay said. "This is an opportunity for him to learn and grow, and we are hopeful that he's a Ram for a really long time." The 24-year-old from BYU has turned out to be a major value pick for the Rams after they selected him in the fifth round (177th overall) in 2023. Nacua has quickly become one of the top receivers in the NFL after just three seasons, making the Pro Bowl twice and leading the league in 2025 in catches (129), while adding a career-high 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 regular-season games. He even outscored Jaxon Smith-Njigba in fantasy to take home the WR1 crown. Nacua has a ridiculous total of 313 catches, 4,191 yards, and 19 touchdowns in just 44 career games. He's the real deal and will be a first-round fantasy asset in 2026 redrafts.
