Danny Scudero Not "Satisfied" After Leading Country in Receiving Last Season
Colorado wide receiver Danny Scudero was one of the best pass-catchers in the country last season, hauling in 88 passes for 1,297 yards (led FBS) and 10 touchdowns at San Jose State. However, the California native remains hungry heading into his first season with the Buffaloes. "For me, there's a never-ending ceiling," he said at Big 12 media day. "You're never satisfied with whatever you do. I left a lot on the table last year. I feel like I could have made a lot more plays, got a lot more yards. And I feel like moving forward this year, I'm going to make the most and take advantage of all my opportunities." After a down season on offense following the departure of Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, Colorado is counting on transfer pass-catchers like Scudero, DeAndre Moore (Texas), and Ernest Campbell (Sacramento State). If Scudero's production translates to the Power 4 level, he could be one of college football's breakout stars nationally in 2026.
