Romeo Doubs Is A Low-End, Routes-Based Flex Play For Week 1
Romeo Doubs looks to start his 2025 season off with some positive momentum as the Packers host the Detroit Lions in Week 1. Doubs is coming off the 2024 campaign, where he ran the most routes on the team but finished WR12 or better only twice last season. Both of those games were games in which Doubs scored twice. An underlying theme for Doubs is major inconsistency in his target earnings, with just two double-digit target games but five games with fewer than five targets earned. Despite those holes in Doubs' game, he's still in the same spot as a starting outside receiver for the Packers in 2025. Against the Lions in Week 1, Doubs is a low-end flex play that's capable of a half-dozen targets and the occasional touchdown, but he's not a ceiling play by any means.
