Low-End RB1 Treatment For Josh Jacobs in Week 1
Josh Jacobs looks to continue his fantastic run as a Packer by starting Week 1 with a bang at home against the Detroit Lions. Jacobs looks to build off of his first season in the green and gold, where he produced 1,329 yards on the ground, added 342 in the receiving game, and scored 16 touchdowns. The Packers could look to pass a bit more in 2025, with quarterback Jordan Love not as limited as he was last season due to injuries. However, the offensive focus for Green Bay is likely to still lean on Jacobs and the run game. Treat Jacobs as a low-end RB1 against a Lions defense that's now healthy, but does return defensive end Aidan Hutchinson to a defense that was stout against the run with the second-fewest rushing yards allowed to running backs last season.
