Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson will back up starting running back Josh Jacobs as the Packers will host the incoming Detroit Lions in Lambeau Field for each team's Week 1 opener. Wilson played a bit behind Chris Brooks, but is listed as the primary backup to Jacobs on the latest Packers depth chart. Wilson's 2024 season saw him reach just over 100 carries in total, with an efficient 4.9 yards per carry on those totes. If something happens to Jacobs, where he cannot play, Wilson would be an upside RB2. With Jacobs healthy and ready to go for Week 1, Wilson is better left on the waiver wire for the regular season opener.--Kevin Tompkins
