Free-agent linebacker/defensive end Rashad Weaver has agreed to a one-year deal with the New York Jets, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero. Weaver was a fourth-round draft choice by the Tennessee Titans in 2021 out of Pittsburgh and registered 49 tackles (29 solo), 5.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 33 career games during the first three years of his career. He spent last season with the Houston Texans and Los Angeles Rams, primarily as a practice squad member. He played in three games for Houston but did not log a stat. Weaver likely has an uphill battle to make the Jets' 53-man active roster in 2025.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
