Brice Turang Starting on Sunday
Brice Turang (wrist) is back in the lineup and batting sixth on Sunday against San Francisco Giants left-hander Robbie Ray. Turang missed the Brewers' 7-1 loss on Saturday after he took a pitch off the wrist on Friday, but fortunately, he avoided a serious injury. While the 25-year-old speedster is nowhere near last season's 50-steal pace, he has otherwise put up far better numbers than he did in 2024. Turang is slashing .286/.352/.428 with 14 homers, 64 RBI, 78 runs scored, and 21 steals over 522 plate appearances. So far in August, Turang has hit a sizzling .365/.420/.770 with eight HRs, 20 RBI, 16 runs, and two steals.
