Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider drafting in 2026:
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba signed a four-year, $168.6 million contract extension with the Seahawks during the offseason, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL. The 24-year-old won Offensive Player of the Year, won a Super Bowl ring, and had great chemistry with quarterback Sam Darnold. JSN caught 119 of 162 targets for 1,793 yards and 10 touchdowns, while rushing for 36 yards on seven attempts in 17 games in 2025.
The 24-year-old owned 35.7% of the team's targets, 106.2 air yards per game, and averaged 4.6 yards after the catch. What's even more amazing about JSN's season is that the Seahawks ranked 29th in passing attempts last year. Seattle's offense could take a step back as Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III signed with the Chiefs during free agency, and offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is now the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Seahawks have most of their offense returning with Cooper Kupp, Rashid Shaheed, Zach Charbonnet (knee), and the team selected running back Jadarian Price in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. JSN will look to make it back-to-back seasons as one of the top wideouts in fantasy and is currently going fifth overall on Sleeper, which aligns perfectly with his fifth overall ranking at RotoBaller.
Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson turned in a stellar 2025 campaign, totaling nearly 2,300 yards from scrimmage and 11 touchdowns. While it may be difficult to envision a significant leap from those numbers, there are still reasons to believe the 24-year-old's best football is ahead of him. Former backfield mate Tyler Allgeier, now a member of the Arizona Cardinals, logged at least 135 carries in each of the past three seasons and scored eight rushing touchdowns in 2025 compared to Robinson's seven.
Atlanta did add veteran running back Brian Robinson Jr. this offseason, but his one-year, $2.5 million contract indicates that he will, at most, occupy the change-of-pace role vacated by Allgeier. Additionally, the Falcons will be led by two-time AP NFL Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski in 2026. During Stefanski's tenure in Cleveland, Nick Chubb finished as a top-12 fantasy option three times despite offering limited value as a pass-catcher.
Robinson's versatile three-down skill set should allow Stefanski to maximize his usage, especially considering the coach's willingness to involve running backs in the passing game. There's a strong argument for Robinson to be selected first overall in drafts across all formats, so fantasy gamers should be ecstatic whenever they have the opportunity to draft him.
DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf has failed to return ADP value in each of the past two seasons. Most recently, in his first year with the Steelers, he finished as the WR26 after coming off the board around WR20. Heading into 2026 as RotoBaller's WR35, he could still struggle to reverse that trend even at the lowest ADP since his 2019 rookie season.
In 2025, Metcalf was the most persistent deep threat in a passing offense that lived largely in the short to intermediate areas of the field. At 42 years old, Aaron Rodgers ranked dead last among 33 qualified quarterbacks on intended air yards per attempt, finishing 1.6 yards below the league average. With Rodgers back in the fold for his 22nd and final professional season and the Steelers spending the offseason surrounding him with low-ADoT targets such as Michael Pittman Jr. and second-round pick Germie Bernard, there is no reason to expect a more aggressive downfield approach in 2026.
In addition to adding more target competition, a philosophical shift to the Steelers' offense could create further obstacles to Metcalf's fantasy success. With Arthur Smith still running the offense in 2025, only the Baltimore Ravens deployed three-receiver sets at a lower rate, which allowed Metcalf to reach a 33.5% first-read target share. With new head coach Mike McCarthy having last run a Dallas offense operating out of 11-personnel on more than 70% of their 2024 snaps, both Pittman and Bernard are likely to be on the field regularly, earning targets.
Metcalf is still the most naturally talented receiver on the roster, but in an environment not necessarily set up to take advantage of his skill set, he's fallen into the seventh round of 2026 drafts, and even at that range, the upside case is surprisingly difficult to make for a 6'4", 229-pound receiver who has three times topped 1,000 yards in a season.
Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams remains a high-upside fantasy option after catching 60 of 114 targets for 789 yards and an NFL-leading 14 touchdowns across 14 games in 2025. He finished as the WR9 in PPR formats while averaging 15.9 fantasy points per game, giving fantasy managers strong weekly production when healthy. Adams still carries clear value in Sean McVay's offense as a trusted scoring weapon for Matthew Stafford, especially with Puka Nacua drawing defensive attention on the other side.
The concern is that Adams' production leaned heavily on touchdowns, with 84 of his 222.9 PPR points coming from scores. His 52.6% catch rate, limited yards-after-catch production (2.0), and late-season hamstring issue add real volatility entering 2026. Adams can still deliver spike weeks in a high-end offense, but the floor is not as safe as the name suggests. All the key pieces for the Rams are returning in Stafford, Nacua, and running backs Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, so Adams' role in the Rams offense shouldn't change much in 2026.
He is currently going 43 overall as the WR19 on Sleeper, which sits well ahead of his WR18 ranking at RotoBaller, making him a risky bet at cost rather than a priority target.
Wan'Dale Robinson, Tennessee Titans
Although he totaled just 10 touchdowns during his four seasons in New York, wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson established himself as a reliable short-yardage option out of the slot. He turned in a career-best campaign last season after stepping into an expanded role with Malik Nabers (knee) sidelined, and the Tennessee Titans rewarded him this offseason with a four-year, $70 million contract.
For a brief period, Robinson seemed entrenched as the Titans' WR1, but Tennessee used the fourth overall pick of the 2026 NFL Draft on Ohio State receiver Carnell Tate.
While Tate's arrival could prevent Robinson from replicating his 2025 production, it should certainly aid in the development of second-year quarterback Cam Ward. Last year's first overall pick began finding his rhythm in the back half of the season, throwing for more than 1,300 yards and 10 touchdowns against just one interception across his final seven full contests. If Ward and the Titans take a step forward in 2026, Robinson could be a valuable fantasy asset in PPR formats, especially given his familiarity with new OC Brian Daboll's system.
The health of 31-year-old Calvin Ridley (leg) is also worth monitoring, but Robinson remains an intriguing late-round fantasy option.
