Alex Fitzpatrick Makes Tour Championship Debut Behind Solid 2026
Alex Fitzpatrick made the splash at the right time when he won in New Orleans with older brother Matt. The English golfer made his presence felt when he contended in the two tournaments after (a fourth at the Truist Championship). He expected some bumps and so far the PGA Playoff has been a thud with two outside Top 40 results. That streak goes back to four events when including the Open Championship (T-71). Driving distance (314 yards) and accuracy (64.95%) are both 25th. Driving the ball at East Lake Golf Club is vital but so is putting. This is where Fitzpatrick has struggled over his previous five tournaments in spite of a 66 to open the BMW Championship. The younger Fitzpatrick may be a golfer to avoid from a DFS and betting perspective.
