TCU "Hopeful" Jordan Dwyer Can Play on Saturday
TCU wide receiver Jordan Dwyer (foot) is likely to be a game-time decision for Saturday's Week 0 matchup against North Carolina, according to Pete Nakos of On3. The senior missed most of fall camp heading into the regular season, but head coach Sonny Dykes is "hopeful" he can be ready for the season opener. Dwyer is TCU's leading returning receiver following the departure of Eric McAlister. In 2025, he caught 54 passes for 730 yards and seven touchdowns, and he's expected to be the clear No. 1 wide receiver for Harvard transfer quarterback Jaden Craig. If Dwyer can't go, freshman Terry Shelton is expected to start in his place alongside Ed Small and South Alabama transfer Jeremy Scott.
