Quaid Carr Bracing for Opportunity at Washington
Washington sophomore running back Quaid Carr hardly saw the field as a freshman, carrying the ball just four times for 14 yards. This offseason, Carr has gotten in work with the first team as he aims to carve out a role. With Jonah Coleman now on the Denver Broncos and Adam Mohammed transferring out to Cal, there is a wide-open role in the Huskies' backfield. Carr will compete with Jordan Washington and Oregon transfer Jayden Limar for touches, but both players missed significant time in the offseason while recovering from surgeries. Head coach Jedd Fisch praised him, stating, "This spring, he ran with the 1s, and what I saw a year ago continued to show up and got better and better and better. He's trained extremely well, he does everything right off the field and he's a powerful runner with great vision." Carr could be due for a breakout.
