Sebastian Walcott Homers, Swipes Two Bags on Saturday
Sebastian Walcott went 3-for-4 at the plate on Saturday for Double-A Frisco, including a pair of singles, a home run, two RBI, two runs scored, and two stolen bases. It was his second home run in the last three games, now slashing .244/.341/.392 with 10 home runs and 22 steals through 80 games. Although the batting average doesn't show it, the 19-year-old is more than holding his own given his age, striking out at a slightly better than average rate of 21.6 percent and registering a 12.2 percent walk rate to complement the other counting stats. The Bahamian is the game's fourth-ranked prospect overall, and with one of the best power/speed combos, dynasty managers should be stashing the future fantasy impact player away, with a major league debut potentially coming next year.
