Minnesota Vikings left tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee) will play in Sunday's Week 9 contest against the Detroit Lions, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Darrisaw had been listed as questionable after practicing in a limited capacity on Friday. The 26-year-old is no stranger to injuries, as he missed two games near the start of the season and has played more than two-thirds of the snaps in just two contests so far. His return this week will provide a key reinforcement for young quarterback J.J. McCarthy (ankle), who is returning from a five-game absence.--Andersen Pickard
