Christian Darrisaw Active Against Detroit on Sunday
Minnesota Vikings left tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee) is officially active on Sunday for the Week 10 divisional battle against the Detroit Lions, the team announced. Darrisaw aggravated his knee injury in last Thursday night's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, but he was able to put in a full practice this week and was expected to suit up after having extra time off to heal between games. It's great news for the Vikings offense with second-year quarterback J.J. McCarthy (ankle) returning for the first time since suffering a high-ankle sprain in the Week 2 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Still, Minnesota's offensive line has been a big question mark and could have a tough time protecting McCarthy against a strong Lions defensive front on the road at Ford Field.
