Nathan Eovaldi Returning on Friday
Texas Rangers starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi (triceps) will be activated off the 15-day injured list and start Friday's game against the Seattle Mariners. As expected, Eovaldi will make his return to the mound after being sidelined since the beginning of June due to a right triceps injury. He threw a few simulated games, but didn't need a rehab assignment before returning to the rotation. Eovaldi has been excellent with a 1.56 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, and 73/10 K/BB ratio across 12 starts this season. Fantasy managers should activate him off their IL and get him in their lineups ahead of first pitch.
