The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky to a three-year, $21 million contract. The Russian netminder will move to Canada after spending the last seven seasons with the Florida Panthers. Bobrovsky helped the Panthers win back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2024 and 2025, but he struggled in 2025-26. Across 51 starts, Bobrovsky posted a 27-23-1 record with a 3.07 goals-against average and a career-low .877 save percentage. Still, Bobrovsky is a two-time Vezina Trophy winner and will be a valuable addition to the Maple Leafs. His arrival spells trouble for Anthony Stolarz, who must settle for a backup role next season.--Taavi Pailk
