The Green Bay Packers defense and special teams unit will have their hands full during their playoff matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild-Card round. The Eagles will have Jalen Hurts (concussion/finger), DeVonta Smith (back), and A.J. Brown (knee) all playing as they were removed from Friday's injury report for Sunday afternoon's game. Add 2,000-yard rusher Saquon Barkley to the mix and the Packers have a lot to contend with. Luckily, the Packers allow the fourth-fewest fantasy points against wide receivers and the ninth-fewest rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks. Against fantasy running backs, the Packers are below average, allowing the 14th-most fantasy points. With the Packers' defense not playing at a high level in their final two games against the Vikings and Bears, the Packers are hard to trust on the road against a full-strength Eagles' offense. It's best to play another team for DFS or in playoff contests that use team defenses.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed looks to right the ship following a backslide in regular season production as the Packers head to Philadelphia to play the Eagles in their Wild-Card game on Sunday afternoon. Reed's skills weren't utilized much after the Packers' Week 10 bye as he put up just one fantasy finish among the top 30 wide receivers. In the final eight games of the season, Reed averaged 3.5 targets, 2.4 receptions, and 36 total yards per game as the Packers leaned heavily on the run game. With Christian Watson (knee) out for the season with a torn ACL, there could be more opportunities for targets for the Packers' pass-catchers. Still, Reed is a high-ceiling option that comes with a shockingly low points floor. For playoff contests and DFS, Reed is a boom-or-bust sleeper option during Wild Card Weekend.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (illness) practiced in full all week and was removed from Friday's final injury report. After sitting out for rest purposes in the Week 18 loss to the division-rival Chicago Bears in the regular-season finale, Doubs will be ready to play on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road on wild-card weekend. And with Christian Watson (knee) now done for the year with a torn ACL, the 24-year-old Doubs will have a higher fantasy ceiling, albeit against an Eagles secondary that won't be an easy matchup. And while Doubs should have slightly more opportunities, he will still be battling for targets with Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. During the regular season, Doubs was outside the top-50 wideouts in half-PPR points per game with a 46-601-4 line in 13 games. Consider him a boom/bust WR2 sleeper in DFS and playoff formats this weekend.--Keith HernandezSource: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has a tall task ahead of him when the Packers head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles on Wild Card Weekend. Kraft had a solid 2024 season, piling up 707 receiving yards and seven scores while finishing seventh amongst tight ends in both categories. With Christian Watson (knee) out for the season with a torn ACL, Kraft should find a few more opportunities to catch some passes from Jordan Love (elbow), who is off the injury report following a Week 18 injury. The Eagles have been tough on opposing tight ends this season as Philadelphia is third in DVOA against tight ends and give up the fourth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends in the regular season. Despite the tough matchup, Kraft is a decent play in playoff contests and a mid-range play for DFS for this weekend's slate.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks will step up into a starting wide receiver spot as the Packers head east to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in the Wild Card round. With Christian Watson (knee) suffering a season-ending ACL tear, Wicks is the next man up for the Packers as he will line up opposite Romeo Doubs for a prime opportunity in the playoffs. Despite Wicks' WR3 or WR4 status for much of the season, Wicks led the Packers in targets this season with 76. In fact, there were only two Packers who put up a game with 10 or more targets this season: Doubs and Wicks. Wicks earned 13 targets in Week 4 against Minnesota and scored two touchdowns, so it's clear Wicks has immense target-earning capability. He could prove to be a huge low-cost sleeper in DFS and in weekly playoff contests as well for this week's action.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs looks to keep his regular season momentum rolling into the playoffs as the Packers head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in their Wild Card game on Sunday afternoon. Jacobs ended the regular season with a bang as he scored 12 rushing touchdowns in his last eight games with a per-game average of 18 carries and 98 total yards in that span. To say Jacobs has been consistent after the Packers' Week 10 bye is quite an understatement. As Jacobs goes, so does the Packers' offense and with Jordan Love (elbow) banged up following Week 18 but off the injury report, the Packers could choose to lean further on their rushing attack against the Eagles. Even with Philadelphia allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to running backs this season, Jacobs is a very solid touches-based RB1 for playoff and DFS contests.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Green Bay Packers quarterbacks Jordan Love (elbow) and Malik Willis (thumb) are off the injury report and good to go for Sunday's playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Love sustained this elbow injury during last weekend's loss to the Chicago Bears. He opened the week as a limited participant but logged two consecutive full sessions to end the week. Willis replaced Love in Week 18 and followed the same practice pattern. Fantasy managers should expect Love to continue operating as the QB1, but Willis will be available if he suffers a setback during the game. Over his past seven full games (excluding Week 18), Love averaged a modest 214.3 passing yards per game with a 10:1 TD:INT ratio. He carries QB2 upside in a tough match against the Eagles, who have allowed the third-fewest PPR points to opposing QBs this season.--Andy SmithSource: Tom Pelissero

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (elbow) was a full participant in practice for the second straight day. It appears Love is trending in the right direction after being limited to open the week. Two straight full practices should mean Love will be active for Saturday's Wild-Card game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Love was pulled out early during the regular season finale as a precaution and it sounds like they limited to in order to keep him fresh. Barring any setbacks, Love will be out there for Saturday's game in what looks like it could be a high-scoring affair.--Andy WebbSource: Rob Demovsky

Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Malik Willis (thumb) returned to a full practice session on Thursday after he was limited on Wednesday. Jordan Love (elbow) was also limited on Wednesday and a full-go on Thursday, so both signal-callers should be ready to roll for the wild-card playoff game on Sunday in Philadelphia against the Eagles. Willis is dealing with a right-thumb injury that he apparently picked up on Sunday when he came on in relief of Love in the loss to the division-rival Chicago Bears in the Week 18 regular-season finale. The 25-year-old made two starts earlier this year when Love was sidelined with an injury and has appeared in seven games total, going 40-for-54 for 550 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Willis has been serviceable in limited duty for the Packers but won't carry any fantasy value into the postseason with Love looking good to go.--Keith HernandezSource: SI.com - Bill Huber

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (elbow) was a full participant in Thursday's practice after being limited by a right elbow injury on Wednesday. This almost certainly means he'll be available for Green Bay's NFC Wild Card matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, barring a setback. Love was banged up in the Week 18 loss to the Chicago Bears and did not return, but the Packers did not have much to gain from winning and likely took the cautious route with their franchise quarterback. Love was impressive in his first playoff run last season, completing over 67% of his passes, averaging 233 passing yards per game, and throwing five touchdowns to two interceptions in games against the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers on the road. Love led the No. 7 seed Packers to the first win over a No. 2 seed in the NFL playoffs ever, and that's the challenge ahead of him again on Sunday.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerSource: Rob Demovksy

Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis (thumb) was a limited participant in Wednesday's team practice. Both he and starting quarterback Jordan Love (elbow) picked up injuries in last Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Chicago Bears, and both kicked off the week with a limited session. Despite being listed as limited, the sentiment surrounding the QBs seems optimistic. Willis never exited the team's meeting with the Bears in spite of being shaken up, and head coach Matt LaFleur noted that Love could have reentered the game if necessary. However, fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on the signal callers' practice participation leading up to their road tilt against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card round. While Love and Willis are expected to be fine, Sean Clifford would be the next man up if the Packers faced a worst-case scenario.--Alex CiullaSource: Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (illness) is feeling better this week and returned to the practice field on Wednesday as the team begins preparing to face the Philadelphia Eagles on the road in the wild-card playoff game this Sunday. Doubs popped up on the team's Week 18 injury report on Saturday with an illness and was held out of Sunday's loss to the division-rival Chicago Bears with the Packers already locked into a playoff spot. Now that the 24-year-old has had time to rest up, he should be good to go for Sunday's contest in Philly, where Doubs will be a more attractive fantasy sleeper play with teammate Christian Watson (knee) done for the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in Week 18. The third-year pass-catcher has scored only four TDs in 13 games this year, but his trips to the end zone came in bunches with a pair of two-touchdown performances. UPDATE: Doubs practiced in full on Wednesday.--Keith HernandezSource: USA TODAY - Ryan Wood

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed on Monday that wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) suffered a torn right ACL in the loss to the division-rival Chicago Bears on Sunday in the Week 18 regular-season finale and will miss the rest of the season. "It's not good," LaFleur said. Watson suffered a bruise in his knee in Week 16 against the New Orleans Saints and was held out of the Week 17 loss to the division-rival Minnesota Vikings before returning on Sunday, only to suffer a season-ending injury. It's a big blow to the Packers heading into the postseason, as Watson is one of the team's best deep-threat wideouts. The 25-year-old former second-rounder finishes his third NFL season with only 29 receptions and two touchdowns but with a career-high 620 receiving yards in 15 games. Given the timing of his injury and his reputation as a slow healer, there's a good chance Watson won't be ready for the start of the 2025 campaign.--Keith HernandezSource: FOX 6 Now - Lily Zhao
