The Green Bay Packers are scheduled to host University of Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond on a top-30 visit on Wednesday, a league source told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Silverstein. Many draft analysts believe this could be the year the Packers take a receiver in the first round, but if they don't, they could elect to draft a player like Bond on Day 2 or 3. In addition to Bond, the Packers have taken a look at Stanford pass-catcher Elic Ayomanor. After adding only Mecole Hardman in free agency at the position, Green Bay is primed to address the position in this year's NFL draft, especially with Christian Watson (knee) potentially missing half of the 2025 season. Bond lacks size but could excel as a shifty wide receiver in space in head coach Matt LaFleur's offense, while Ayomanor's skillset makes him more of a downfield threat.--Keith HernandezSource: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Tom Silverstein

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Ohio State Buckeye wide receiver Emeka Egbuka is visiting with the Green Bay Packers on Monday and Tuesday. The 22-year-old spent Friday and Saturday with the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas holds pick No. 12 in the first round and No. 44 in the second, while Green Bay picks No. 23 and No. 54. Chicago has also been linked to Egbuka -- selecting sixth in the second round. The Tacoma native is generally ranked as a top-five wide receiver prospect in this class and the eighteenth prospect on Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board rankings. Egbuka twice went over 1,000 yards during his collegiate career and profiles as more of a technician/possession receiver. He would be a fine pass-catching option for fantasy if either of the aforementioned teams selected him.--Alex CiullaSource: Adam Schefter

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst did not rule out the possibility of cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) returning to the team in 2025 at this week's annual league meetings. When asked about Alexander potentially remaining in Green Bay, Gutekunst said, "It could be a possibility. Absolutely." The Packers have had talks about trading the 28-year-old defensive back this offseason, though, and they hope to have a resolution on his situation before the draft at the end of April. The two-time Pro Bowler has been a big part of Green Bay's secondary in his seven years with the team since debuting in 2018, but he's played in just 14 regular-season games the last two years due to injuries and had knee surgery in January. It's unlikely that Green Bay would be able to get much for Alexander due to his injuries and the fact that he has two years left on his current deal.--Keith HernandezSource: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman

The Green Bay Packers have signed linebacker Kristian Welch to an undisclosed contract. Welch spent 2023 with the Pack but was a member of the Baltimore Ravens for each of his other four seasons in the league. Signing with Baltimore as an undrafted free agent in 2020, Welch played in 43 games over three seasons. He never notched more than four tackles but also contributed on special teams. The Iowa product registered eight tackles in 2024, appearing in 15 games for Green Bay, including both postseason starts for the team. The 26-year-old will have a chance to compete for playing time during camp but figures to be more of a depth piece on defense and an asset on special teams.--Alex CiullaSource: Green Bay Packers

The Athletic's Matt Schneidman is predicting that the Green Bay Packers break their 22-year streak and take Arizona receiver Tetairoa McMillan in the first round of the upcoming NFL draft for the first time since 2002. According to ESPN draft analyst Jordan Reid, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst was the only GM present at a private workout for McMillan last week. He's listed at No. 7 on Dane Brugler's to-100 list, so the Packers would have to trade up within the first round to snag him. If Green Bay doesn't go after McMillan, they could wait until later in the draft and take Texas' Matthew Golden, Ohio State's Emeka Egbuka or Missouri's Luther Burden III. Schneidman thinks the Packers go receiver regardless in Round 1, and it would make sense with Christian Watson (knee) expected to miss around half of the 2025 season.--Keith HernandezSource: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman

Free-agent wide receiver/return specialist Mecole Hardman (knee) is signing an undisclosed one-year deal with the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday, a source tells ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Hardman will take his speed to the Packers while contributing both on offense and special teams as a kick returner. The 27-year-old former second-rounder (56th overall) by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019 out of the University of Georgia caught only 12 of 14 targets for 90 yards and no touchdowns while carrying the ball five times for 62 yards and a touchdown in 12 regular-season games before suffering a knee injury in December that landed him on Injured Reserve. The Packers could use the receiver depth with Christian Watson (knee) likely to miss around half of the 2025 season, but Hardman could struggle for consistent involvement in Green Bay's offense, much like he did in KC, behind Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs.--Keith HernandezSource: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler

Green Bay Packers free-agent running back AJ Dillon (neck) has been fully cleared by multiple doctors and is ready to return to the field in 2025, sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Dillon didn't play at all in 2024 due to a stinger, but he's still only 26 years old and has 2,428 career rushing yards and 18 total touchdowns in his four seasons with the Packers. He proved that he's not really a lead back when he got the opportunity in Green Bay, but Dillon should still attract plenty of interest on the open market as a big, physical runner if he's indeed past his neck injury. Because he'll likely be sharing plenty of backfield touches wherever he lands in free agency, his fantasy value will remain limited. In his last season in 2023, Dillon had a career-low 3.4 yards per carry on 178 rushing attempts for 613 yards and two rushing touchdowns in 15 games (six starts).--Keith HernandezSource: FOX Sports - Jordan Schultz

The Green Bay Packers signed former Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Nate Hobbs to a four-year, $48 million deal on Monday that includes $16 million guaranteed, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Hobbs will head to the NFC North after spending the first four years of his career with the Raiders after they made him a fifth-round selection (167th overall) in 2021 out of Illinois. Hobbs played in only 11 games (seven starts) for Vegas in his final year with the team in 2024 and recorded a career-low 49 tackles (33 solo), an interception and five pass breakups. He established himself as a solid slot cornerback in his first three years with the Raiders, though, and has 281 total tackles (200 solo), three sacks, 14 tackles for loss, eight QB hits, three interceptions, 19 pass breakups, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in his four seasons. Hobbs will essentially be replacing Jaire Alexander in 2025.--Keith HernandezSource: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero

The Green Bay Packers have agreed to terms with former San Francisco 49ers guard Aaron Banks on a four-year, $77 million contract, according to NFL insider Ari Meirov. The 2021 second-round pick out of Notre Dame played in 53 games (43 starts) over his four-year NFL career and will provide an instant upgrade along the Green Bay offensive line. Banks will become a top-five offensive guard in average salary when he signs his deal after the new league year begins on March 12. This is a great development for quarterback Jordan Love and running back Josh Jacobs.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerSource: Ari Meirov -- 33rd Team

The Green Bay Packers agreed to re-sign kicker Brandon McManus on Tuesday to a three-year, $15.3 million deal, including a $5 million signing bonus, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal was negotiated by Drew and Jason Rosenhaus. McManus joined the Packers midway through the 2024 and helped stabilize a position that had been a headache for the team ever since Mason Crosby left. The 33-year-old veteran made 20 of his 21 field-goal attempts, including all three from 50-plus yards out, and all 30 of his extra-point tries in 11 regular-season games. In the wild-card game loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, he made one of his two field goals and his only point-after attempt. Given the upside of Green Bay's offense with quarterback Jordan Love, McManus should enter the 2025 season as a fringe top-12 fantasy option, at worst.--Keith HernandezSource: ESPN - Adam Schefter

The Green Bay Packers re-signed linebacker Isaiah McDuffie to a two-year, $8 million deal on Monday, sources tell ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. With incentives, McDuffie will have the upside to earn a total of $9.5 million. He will return to Green Bay after recording a career-high 97 tackles (46 solo), half a sack, three tackles for loss, three QB hits, three pass breakups and a forced fumble in 17 regular-season starts in his fourth year in the NFL with the Packers. The 25-year-old former sixth-round selection in 2021 out of Boston College is expected to serve as the team's top backup inside linebacker again in 2025 behind Quay Walker and Edgerrin Cooper. He has a total of 228 tackles (129 solo), one sack, eight tackles for loss, six QB hits, four pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 63 games (26 starts) in his four years in Green Bay.--Keith HernandezSource: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler

There has been no contact or negotiations as of now between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks regarding wide receiver DK Metcalf, a source told The Athletic's Matt Schneidman. A report earlier on Friday suggested that the Packers had already offered an enticing package to the Seahawks to potentially acquired Metcalf this offseason. While the Seahawks aren't necessarily shopping Metcalf, it's clear that some teams are calling about his availability after back-to-back seasons of only 66 receptions for the two-time Pro Bowler. While the 27-year-old former second-rounder still had a healthy 992 receiving yards in 15 games in 2024, he also had a career-low five touchdowns and took a back seat to breakout wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Metcalf moving to Green Bay would certainly make him an intriguing bounce-back candidate, especially with Christian Watson (knee) expected to miss at least half the season.--Keith HernandezSource: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman

The Green Bay Packers have had trade conversations involving Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander and are willing to trade him this offseason, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. The 2018 first-round pick out of Louisville has spent his entire professional career with Green Bay, racking up 287 tackles (240 solo), 12 interceptions, 70 passes defended, three forced fumbles, and 1.5 sacks in 78 career games. However, Alexander has played in just 14 of 34 possible regular-season games over the last two seasons. The 28-year-old could be headed toward a steep decline in play, so he should not be too expensive to trade for. Still, a contending team with a significant need at cornerback could be interested in taking the flyer on the two-time All-Pro selection.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerSource: Ian Rapoport

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said that offensive lineman Zach Tom will probably stay at right tackle in 2025, even though the team has a potential need at center with Josh Myers set to be an unrestricted free agent in March. The Packers liked Tom more as a center when he entered the draft in 2022 out of Wake Forest, but he received the third-most All-Pro votes at right tackle in 2024 behind only the Eagles' Lane Johnson and Lions' Penei Sewell. "I feel good about our offensive line," Gutekunst said. "We'll always continue to address it because it's such an important part of what we do. But I like the versatility of our guys. We've got a lot of guys that can play four spots, a couple guys who can probably play all five." Tom bounced back nicely from a torn pectoral he suffered early last offseason.--Keith HernandezSource: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman

The Athletic's Matt Schneidman says not to be surprised if the Green Bay Packers reach a contract extension with linebacker Quay Walker this offseason. The deadline to exercise fifth-year options is coming soon, and picking up Walker's fifth-year option would result in a guaranteed salary of around $16.5 million in 2026, according to Over The Cap. It sounds like general manager Brian Gutekunst doesn't want to make Walker the fourth-highest paid off-the-ball linebacker, although it doesn't mean the team doesn't want Walker to stick around into the future. "But yeah, we'd like to find a way to keep Quay around here long-term, whether that be an extension or something," Gutekunst said. Despite playing in only 13 regular-season games in 2024 due to an ankle injury, the former first-rounder finished with 102 combined tackles for the third straight year to begin his NFL career.--Keith HernandezSource: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman
