Hi, RotoBallers! Welcome back to another two-start pitchers - fantasy baseball waiver wire streamers and starts article for Week 12 of 2025, from June 16 to June 22. Plenty of teams have seven games scheduled this week, giving us a bevy of two-start pitchers to work with.

Each week of the 2025 fantasy baseball season, this fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify starting pitchers in line to make two starts in the upcoming week. It will look at fantasy baseball streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire run for leagues with weekly transactions.

There are 38 pitchers currently scheduled to make two starts during this period. We will examine the ideal options with roster rates under 50 percent. Pitchers with roster rates over 50 percent will also be listed. The other two-start pitchers are available, but they are not listed as they should be avoided.

Best Available Two-Start Pitcher Streamers

Will Warren (40% Rostered), New York Yankees

Scheduled Starts: vs. LAA, vs. BAL

Will Warren has had his share of bad starts this year, but he's still pitched quite well. Through 14 starts, he holds a 4.86 ERA, 3.23 FIP, 1.37 WHIP, 28.6% strikeout rate, and 10.5% walk rate.

A 31.5% CSW rate and 11.4% SwStr make him a compelling grab, if only for his high strikeout floor. Additionally, his .319 BABIP, 18.8% HR/FB ratio, and 64.9% left-on-base rate indicate he's had horrible luck this year.

The Angels have had hot stretches this year, but still rank in the bottom third of the league in scoring this season. The Orioles have woken up a bit, but also rank only 25th in runs scored this season.

Ben Casparius (14% Rostered), Los Angeles Dodgers

Scheduled Starts: vs. SD, vs. WAS

Ben Casparius has pitched incredibly this season; unfortunately, he's done it primarily as a bulk reliever. Regardless, his 2.86 ERA, 1.89 FIP, 1.02 WHIP, 26% strikeout rate, and 5.1% walk rate through 44 innings deserve some fanfare.

His advanced statistical profile is essentially bulletproof, as Casparius maintains a 29.5% hard-hit rate, 15.3% SwStr rate, 30.3% CSW rate, and 5.7% barrel rate. However, his 31.1% FB rate and 1.9% HR/FB ratio combined raise some red flags.

Regardless, with the recent announcement that Casparius will move into a rotation role, he should be a priority add in fantasy baseball. While there should be some concern over pitch limits, his efficiency in bulk relief samples should encourage you.

While San Diego and Washington possess some very talented bats, both teams also rank in the bottom third of the league in scoring since May 18. Casparius would be an interesting pick against most teams, but he's a solid streaming option against two cold offenses.

Riskier Two-Start Pitcher Streamer Picks

Zack Littell (46% Rostered), Tampa Bay Rays

Scheduled Starts: vs. BAL, vs. DET

Zack Littell has muscled his way through some good innings, as he goes into this week with a 3.84 ERA, 5.41 FIP, 1.11 WHIP, 16.7% strikeout rate, and 3.2% walk rate through 14 starts. Much of this success has come under great stress, as he holds an almost impressively scary 89.2% left-on-base rate this season.

His low walk rate and correspondingly low WHIP offer some regular fantasy appeal. However, with a low strikeout floor and dicey run-prevention skills, he's not worth the risk against a Detroit offense ranked sixth in scoring this season.

Lance McCullers Jr. (44% Rostered), Houston Astros

Scheduled Starts: @ ATH, @ LAA

Somewhat predictably, Lance McCullers Jr. has had a volatile first month upon return from injuries that sidelined him for the past two seasons. Through seven starts, he holds a 4.91 ERA, 4.24 FIP, 1.43 WHIP, 28.5% strikeout rate, and 11.7% walk rate.

McCullers has a high ceiling and has shown it this season (for example, 12 strikeouts in a home start against the Athletics), but you should think carefully before streaming him. An Athletics offense in Sutter Health Park (.764 OPS at home) is by no means a safe opponent.

Jack Leiter (40% Rostered), Texas Rangers

Scheduled Starts: vs. KC, @ PIT

It's getting worse by the week, but Jack Leiter still maintains some decent numbers. Through 11 starts, he holds a 3.88 ERA, 4.86 FIP, 1.24 WHIP, 19.4% strikeout rate, and 12.1% walk rate.

His 10.4% SwStr rate, 25.6% CSW rate, 10.8% barrel rate, and .232 BABIP don't inspire confidence. He'll have a good shot with starts against two of the three lowest-scoring offenses in the league this season, but Leiter's been burned by worse.

Grant Holmes (40% Rostered), Atlanta Braves

Scheduled Starts: vs. NYM, @ MIA

It's been another underwhelming year for the Atlanta Braves, and Grant Holmes is no exception. He's had some good games amid an unusually tough schedule, with a 4.07 ERA, 4.68 FIP, 1.22 WHIP, 25.4% strikeout rate, and 10.6% walk rate through 73 innings pitched.

A few weeks ago, a week with starts against the Mets and Marlins would have put Holmes in the conversation. But a Mets offense that leads the league in scoring this month should not be trifled with.

Mick Abel (37% Rostered), Philadelphia Phillies

Scheduled Starts:@ MIA, vs. NYM

Mick Abel is off to a great start in the majors, with a 2.35 ERA, 4.38 FIP, 1.11 WHIP, 23% strikeout rate, and 4.9% walk rate through three starts.

There's not enough to grasp the kind of pitcher he'll be for the rest of the year, so it is difficult to stream him without concern. Regardless, you don't like the rookie right-handed pitcher's odds against a red-hot Mets offense.

Matthew Liberatore (35% Rostered), St. Louis Cardinals

Scheduled Starts:@ CHW, vs. CIN

After an incredible start to the year, Matthew Liberatore stumbled a bit to open June. He holds a 10.00 ERA, 6.74 FIP, and 13% strikeout rate in his last two starts, but he still maintains a 3.93 ERA, 3.16 FIP, 1.17 WHIP, 20.3% strikeout rate, and 3.6% walk rate across 13 starts this season.

There's reason to be concerned, as his zone-pounding fastball has ticked down significantly: from 95 mph in an April start against the Phillies (three hits and no runs allowed over six innings) to 93.8 mph in his latest start against Toronto (nine hits and five runs allowed over five innings).

While a White Sox lineup ranked 27th in scoring this season should be a good matchup, a top-10 Reds offense is too intimidating to trust Liberatore this week fully.

Shane Smith (34% Rostered), Chicago White Sox

Scheduled Starts: vs. STL, @ TOR

A safe streamer last week, Shane Smith, was bumped to this week to take the mound against two avian opponents. Nevertheless, Smith chugs along, now with a 2.37 ERA, 3.46 FIP, 1.17 WHIP, 22.4% strikeout rate, and 9.4% walk rate through 13 starts.

A White Sox starter already comes with drawbacks, but his matchup against a top-10 Cardinals offense will take him out of safe streaming territory.

Chad Patrick (31% Rostered), Milwaukee Brewers

Scheduled Starts: @ CHC, @ MIN

With a 3.25 ERA, 3.48 FIP, 1.26 WHIP, 22.6% strikeout rate, and 7.6% walk rate in his first season in "The Show," Chad Patrick should be on the radar of most fantasy baseball managers. However, a Cubs offense ranked second in scoring this season disqualifies immediate contention for a starting spot.

Jose Soriano (20% Rostered), Los Angeles Angels

Scheduled Starts: @ NYY, vs. HOU

Jose Soriano is somehow maintaining a sub-4.00 ERA and sub-4.00 FIP in his third straight year, as he holds a 3.86 ERA, 3.50 FIP, 1.50 WHIP, 18.7% strikeout rate, and 11.4% walk rate through 14 starts.

Despite his high walk rate, he's never immediately out of safe streaming territory. However, a Yankees offense leading the AL in scoring is too difficult a matchup for a Soriano stream.

Bailey Falter (20% Rostered), Pittsburgh Pirates

Scheduled Starts: @ DET, vs. TEX

After a predictably terrible start to the year, Bailey Falter has strung together some impressive starts lately. Through 14 starts, he now holds a 3.36 ERA, 4.10 FIP, 1.12 WHIP, 15.4% strikeout rate, and 8.4% walk rate.

While he's a fun story, Falter is not a serious candidate with his next start against a Tigers offense ranked sixth in scoring this season.

Jake Irvin (19% Rostered), Washington Nationals

Scheduled Starts: vs. COL, @ LAD

Jake Irvin has surely eaten innings this year, with a 4.21 ERA, 4.78 FIP, 1.25 WHIP, 15.3% strikeout rate, and 7.1% walk rate through 14 starts and 83 1/3 innings. While he might cut it against a Rockies offense on the road (.581 road OPS), he will not have a fighting chance against a juggernaut Dodgers lineup.

JP Sears (15% Rostered), Athletics

Scheduled Starts: vs. HOU, vs. CLE

JP Sears has had a tough year, with a 5.08 ERA, 4.91 FIP, 1.25 WHIP, 18.7% strikeout rate, and 4.5% walk rate through 14 starts.

While Cleveland and Houston haven't impressed this year, they're talented enough to make the two Sutter Health Park starts difficult for Sears.
