Hey, RotoBallers! Welcome back to another two-start pitchers - fantasy baseball waiver wire streamers and starts article for Week 10 of 2025, from June 2 to June 8. All MLB teams have more than six games on the schedule this week, giving us a good variety of two-start pitchers to work with

Each week of the 2025 fantasy baseball season, this fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify starting pitchers in line to make two starts in the upcoming week. It will look at fantasy baseball streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire run for leagues with weekly transactions.

There are 31 pitchers currently scheduled to make two starts during this period. We will examine the ideal options that have roster rates under 50 percent. Pitchers with roster rates over 50 percent will also be listed. The other two-start pitchers are available, but they are not listed as they should be avoided.

Best Available Two-Start Pitcher Streamers

Luis Severino (30% Rostered), Athletics

Scheduled Starts: vs. MIN, vs. BAL

There have certainly been ups and downs in Severino's first season with the Athletics, but he's mostly held strong through 12 starts, with a 3.89 ERA, 3.39 FIP, 1.23 WHIP, 17.7% strikeout rate, and 7.2% walk rate in 71 2/3 innings.

Severino's main issue this season is his low strikeout rate, which, with an 8.7% SwStr rate, 25.4% CSW rate, and 17.9% whiff rate, signals that a drastic change in his pitch mix will be needed before he becomes viable week in and week out.

While two starts in the hitter-friendly Sutter Health Park is not ideal, Baltimore and Minnesota rank among the eight lowest-scoring offenses in baseball. His deadened stuff comes with natural risks, but the concerns aren't critically dangerous against two struggling offenses.

Lance McCullers Jr. (15% Rostered), Houston Astros

Scheduled Starts: @ PIT, @ CLE

Having last touched a major-league mound in 2022, Lance McCullers Jr. has done about as well as expected upon his return. Through five starts, he holds a 5.89 ERA, 4.66 FIP, 1.69 WHIP, 28.6% strikeout rate, and 12.1% walk rate in 18 1/3 innings.

While that line doesn't look too great, it mostly comes from his second start back against a top-10 Cincinnati Reds offense, as he allowed seven runs and three hits in 1/3 of an inning before getting sent to the showers.

Disregarding that blowout would be prudent for McCullers, as his 3.73 SIERA, 11% SwStr rate, and 29.1% CSW rate indicate long-term success. The 31-year-old is also coming off his best start of the year, with 12 strikeouts in six innings pitched (three earned runs, five hits, and one walk allowed).

McCullers may have another blow-up at some point this season, but it shouldn't come against a Pirates offense ranked 29th in runs scored or a Guardians offense ranked 22nd in scoring. McCullers is the best streaming option available this week.

Riskier Two-Start Streamer Picks

Dustin May (46% Rostered), Los Angeles Dodgers

Scheduled Starts: vs. NYM, @ STL

Because of the strength of their six-man arsenal, it is rare to see a Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher who qualifies as a two-start streamer. Dustin May sneaks in this week, but unfortunately, heads the wrong way.

May's had a decent season, with a 4.20 ERA, 3.92 FIP, 1.24 WHIP, 24.8% strikeout rate, and 8.5% walk rate through 10 starts and 55 2/3 innings pitched. A 20% HR/FB ratio should stabilize soon, but so will his 69.6% left-on-base rate.

Matchups against a Cardinals offense ranked eighth in scoring and a Mets offense ranked 12th in scoring are not guaranteed to fail, but it's too difficult a week to chalk the Dodgers starter in for a clean two-start week.

Brady Singer (40% Rostered), Cincinnati Reds

Scheduled Starts: vs. MIL, vs. ARZ

A fantastic start to the season shot up Brady Singer's fantasy value, but it has since petered out with recent poor performances. Through 11 starts, he holds a 4.60 ERA, 4.19 FIP, 1.33 WHIP, 19.6% strikeout rate, and 9.2% walk rate in 58 2/3 innings.

Two starts in the hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park immediately hurt his chances, but his second start against a Diamondbacks offense ranked fifth in runs scored this season puts him out of contention.

Tomoyuki Sugano (31% Rostered), Baltimore Orioles

Scheduled Starts: @ SEA, @ ATH

In last week's two-start pitchers article, Tomoyuki Sugano was featured as a risky streamer, but his second start against the Chicago White Sox was moved back.

The NPB vet maintains his unusual statistical profile, as he holds a 3.23 ERA, 4.78 FIP, 1.06 WHIP, 13.7% strikeout rate, and 3.9% walk rate through 11 starts and 64 innings.

The 35-year-old's 86.1% left-on-base rate and .237 BABIP may turn on him very soon. But even if that doesn't happen, Sugano's low strikeout floor takes him out of streaming contention in most weeks.

Any benefits derived from a start in the pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park are negated by his next start in the hitter-friendly Sutter Health Park.

Shane Smith (22% Rostered), Chicago White Sox

Scheduled Starts: vs. DET, vs. KC

While he's stumbled as of late, Shane Smith is still having a fantastic rookie year. Through 11 starts, he holds a 2.68 ERA, 3.68 FIP, 1.16 WHIP, 22.3% strikeout rate, and 9.5% walk rate. However, you can't risk streaming anyone against a Detroit Tigers offense ranked fourth in scoring this season.

Bowden Francis (21% Rostered), Toronto Blue Jays

Scheduled Starts: vs. PHI, @ MIN

Bowden Francis held Texas scoreless in his latest start, but his numbers this season still look awful. Through 11 starts, he holds a 5.04 ERA, 6.03 FIP, 1.36 WHIP, 19.4% strikeout rate, and 7.2% walk rate in 55 1/3 innings.

His season likely won't get much better this week, as his first start is against a Philadelphia Phillies offense ranked seventh in scoring this season.

Tyler Anderson (18% Rostered), Los Angeles Angels

Scheduled Starts: @ BOS, vs. SEA

Tyler Anderson is still trudging along, with a 3.39 ERA, 5.19 FIP, 1.21 WHIP, 17.7% strikeout rate, and 9.2% walk rate through 11 starts and 61 innings. Anderson will be hard to justify in most weeks, but he's got one of the most challenging weeks of his season ahead of him.

He'll begin the week in the hitter-friendly Fenway Park against a Boston offense ranked sixth in runs scored. He's already out of contention there, but then he'll have to deal with a Seattle Mariners offense outside of the pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park (Seattle holds a .759 OPS in away games).

Cade Horton (15% Rostered), Chicago Cubs

Scheduled Starts: @ WAS, @ DET

Cade Horton has had a solid debut season, with a 3.98 ERA, 4.95 FIP, 1.23 WHIP, 18.6% strikeout rate, and 4.7% walk rate through four appearances (against the Mets, White Sox, Rockies, and Marlins).

An 84.1% left-on-base rate, 12.7% SwStr rate, 27.5% CSW rate, and 11.1% barrel rate indicate that his strikeout ceiling is likely higher than it looks, but his run-prevention luck might not hold.

Horton is a good stream against bad teams at this stage in his career, but you still can't confidently stream him yet against a Tigers offense ranked fourth in runs scored this season.

Stephen Kolek (14% Rostered), San Diego Padres

Scheduled Starts: @ SF, @ MIL

A reliever in his rookie year, Stephen Kolek has done well in the starting rotation this season. Through five starts, he holds a 4.11 ERA, 3.86 FIP, 1.30 WHIP, 18.6% strikeout rate, and 7.8% walk rate in 30 2/3 innings.

An 8.1% SwStr rate, 25% CSW rate, and 53.2% hard-hit rate all rank among the league's worst, so it is clear Kolek is budging up against his current ceiling. While the Giants and Brewers aren't world-beaters, their offenses rank in the better half in runs scored this season. Don't take the risk with Kolek this week.

Michael Lorenzen (12% Rostered), Kansas City Royals

Scheduled Starts: @ STL, @ CHW

Coming off his worst start of the year, Michael Lorenzen now holds a 4.33 ERA, 4.51 FIP, 1.40 WHIP, 19.1% strikeout rate, and 7% walk rate through 11 starts and 62 1/3 innings. While he gets the White Sox soon, it isn't worth the risk against a Cardinals offense ranked eighth in scoring this season.
