Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 14: Top Free Agent Adds Include Jahan Dotson, Corey Davis, Nico Collins, D.J. Chark

D.J. Chark - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Justin Carter's fantasy football wide receiver waiver wire pickups for Week 14 of the 2022 NFL season. His free agent WRs to add, stream and stash off waivers.

You came here for receivers, so let's get you some receivers. Below, you'll find some wide receivers that you should be targeting on the fantasy football waiver wire ahead of Week 14.

Not all of these waiver wire options are the same. Some players may be better in PPR or deeper leagues, so it’s not a one-size-fits-all comparison. Use your best judgment when deciding which of these players is the right fit for your roster.

Be sure to also check out our Waiver Wire Adds for Week 14 for help at all the skill positions. All players on this list here are around 50% rostered or below.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Wide Receivers Fantasy Football Waiver Wire

Darius Slayton, New York Giants - 61% rostered

If you're a smart fantasy player, you probably already added Slayton. But he's still out there in 39% of leagues, so if you're in one of those, make him a priority. The Giants receiving corps is a mess—at this point, it's just Slayton plus guys who you hadn't heard of before this season. I supposed they could still sign Odell Beckham Jr., but I'm not sure that would even really cut into Slayton's role.

Slayton had eight targets this week, catching six passes for 90 yards. It's the sixth game in a row with at least 50 receiving yards for Slayton, and the third time in four games that he went over 85 yards. He has a tough matchup next week against the Eagles, but he's a WR3 play right now.

Michael Gallup, Dallas Cowboys 53% rostered

I'll keep it brief on Gallup, since he's rostered over the 50% threshold we usually use for this article. He caught a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 54-19 win over the Colts and if the Cowboys don't sign Odell Beckham Jr., then I think Gallup is a viable play considering his uptick in usage the last two games, as he has a combined 15 targets.

Corey Davis, New York Jets - 13% rostered

Mike White threw 57 passes against the Vikings. With White under center, this team seems a little more willing to throw the ball around than they were with Zach Wilson. The obvious winner from that is Garrett Wilson, but he's 83% rostered on Yahoo!, so unless you're in an eight-team league, he's not out there for you to grab.

Corey Davis was second on the team in targets this week with 10, catching five of them for 85 yards. He tied his season-high in targets and set a new season-high in yards. Davis seems like he might be carving out a role as the team's No. 2 option, and if that holds true, he could be a valuable flex option down the stretch.

D.J. Chark, Detroit Lions - 16% rostered

All the attention this week was on Jameson Williams making his NFL debut. But while Williams was active, he wasn't really used. His reported role was to get some snaps on special teams, but the Lions never punted, so Williams didn't get those reps. Offensively, he played six snaps.

Meanwhile, D.J. Chark continued his resurgence. After catching a touchdown last week, he was targeted six times this week, catching five passes for a season-high 98 yards. When Chark's been on the field, he's been solid, and with the Lions' offense playing well right now, Chark should be considered a WR4 option.

Demarcus Robinson, Baltimore Ravens - 12% rostered

The former Chiefs wideout led the Ravens in targets this week, as the team's QBs looked his way eight times. Maybe the most notable thing here is that all those targets came from Tyler Huntley, who came into the game after Lamar Jackson left with a knee injury. Jackson's probably going to miss at least next week's game against the Steelers, if not more games, and the rapport between Huntley and Robinson could make him a decent dart throw for a team that needs someone in the flex.

Jahan Dotson, Washington Commanders - 14% rostered

Dotson had four touchdowns in his first four NFL games but then missed five games with a hamstring injury. When he came back, his role was pretty much gone, as he had two catches in his first three games after returning. But he saw a big increase in usage this week, as he was targeted nine times, the most of his NFL career. He caught five passes for 54 yards and found the end zone for the first time since Week 4.

Does it mean anything? Hard to tell. But we've seen at various times this season that Dotson's a dynamic player. The Commanders should make a concerted effort to get him the ball more, just like they did in Week 13. (He'd be higher in this section if Washington wasn't on a bye next week).

Nico Collins, Houston Texans - 29% rostered

We can't ignore volume, and Nico Collins theoretically—and the key word here is theoretically—has volume. With Brandin Cooks sidelined this week, Collins led the Texans with 10 targets. The problem? He converted that into just three catches for 35 yards, though he salvaged his day from a fantasy perspective with a garbage-time touchdown.

This is now four games in a row with at least seven targets for Collins, but his most yards over that span was just 49. Houston's quarterbacks want to get him the ball, but they aren't really that good. Still, he has two touchdowns in the last four games and has upside as a WR4 play.

Wide Receiver Deeper League Waiver Wire Pickups

Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts 14% rostered

Pierce had four catches for 86 yards and a touchdown this week and was targeted eight times. It's his third game with at least eight targets. The problem, which is why he's in the deep league adds instead of normal adds, is that over the last four games, he's failed to even bring in a reception twice, plus the Colts have a bye next week. Pierce could be a good player down the stretch, but the last time we thought he was on his way to having consistent fantasy value, we ended up being disappointed.

Trent Sherfield, Miami Dolphins - 0% rostered

Sherfield caught a 75-yard touchdown on the first play of the game Sunday, then failed to bring in his other two targets. One long touchdown alone isn't a reason to add a player if he doesn't have any other things going his way, but Sherfield might also get a little boost from a potential Jaylen Waddle injury—Waddle was dealing with some kind of leg issue on Sunday and was held to one catch.

Isaiah Hodgins, New York Giants - 0% rostered

I mentioned above that the Giants don't have any good receivers. Hodgins was second in targets with six this week, catching five of them for 44 yards and a touchdown. It's his third game in a row with at least three receptions, which is...something, I guess! A common theme of this "deep league" section today is going to be that I hate what's left on the wire in deep leagues.

Equanimeous St. Brown, Chicago Bears - 0% rostered

St. Brown was targeted four times on Sunday, catching three of them for 85 yards. It was probably a one-week fluke, but he's worth monitoring, I guess! The Bears are on a bye next week, though.
