Bryce Underwood Has Been Consistent at Fall Camp
Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood has been consistently strong in fall camp, according to offensive coordinator Jason Beck. Beck told the media on Thursday, "We've had 13 practices, and Bryce Underwood has had 13 good practices." Underwood has grown more comfortable under center and in the shotgun, and the team emphasizes that he makes routine plays and doesn't need to be Superman. As a freshman, the Wolverine quarterback completed 202 of 335 passes for 2,428 yards, with 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions, while adding 392 rushing yards and six touchdowns in 13 games. Currently ranked QB29 in RotoBaller's positional rankings, Underwood offers upside with his ability to use his legs, but could be limited by Michigan's run-heavy style.
