Quinn Henicle Wins Old Dominion Quarterback Job
Old Dominion has named third-year quarterback Quinn Henicle as the starter, as was expected. With Colton Joseph transferring to Wisconsin, Henicle steps up into the starting role after serving as Joseph's backup in 2025. Henicle, like Joseph, is a dual-threat quarterback who thrives on the ground. He led the Monarchs to a 24-10 win over USF in the Cure Bowl, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns. Henicle will be a natural fit in head coach Ricky Rahne's scheme, especially given that he's practiced in this system for the past two seasons. His 2026 debut will come on September 5th against Norfolk State.
