Jason Day looks to improve on a solid 2025 season. He has only missed one cut, has three top-10 finishes, and finished T23 or better on two more occasions, including this past weekend at the U.S. Open. This week's Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands features a layout that rewards precision accuracy off the tee and great play on and around the green. Day ranks 105th in driving accuracy (57.82%), 24th in strokes gained around the green (+0.291), and 108th in strokes gained putting (-0.044). Although those stats aren't ideal by any stretch, he also has a decent history at this venue. In 10 starts, he's made eight cuts, has four top 25s, and has two top 10 finishes. He should be considered a hit or miss option this week for fantasy managers. --Jake Walker - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

The weeks continue to roll by without Sungjae Im doing anything particularly impressive. The highly regarded ball striker just hasn't found anything in that department in 2025, ranking 174th in strokes gained on approach (-0.911). However, every other part of his game has been pretty respectable, ranking 36th or better in all other strokes gained metrics. The unfortunate side is that the drastic shortcomings with his approach play haven't allowed him to put four rounds together, and that is worrisome on a course like TPC River Highlands that could demand a winning score of -20 under par or more. At $9,000, there's too much not working from tee to green to possibly trust an outcome for the South Korean.--Todd McGillSource: PGA Tour

After a subpar performance last week at Oakmont, Patrick Cantlay is looking to regain his steady form of play that's been on display for most of 2025. He has three top-five finishes and another four finishes inside the top 15. The problem has been the majors this year for Cantlay. He finished T36 at The Masters and missed cuts in both the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open. This week's Travelers Championship should be a great spot to get right for the Californian. TPC River Highlands will be one of the easiest courses played all year on the PGA Tour. Players will need to excel at precision off the tee as well as smooth play on and around the greens. Cantlay ranks 81st in driving accuracy (59.91%), 78th in strokes gained around the green (+0.068), and 65th in strokes gained putting (+0.151). Although his $9,800 price tag on DraftKings is steep, it may be worth it in the end.--Jake Walker - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

It was an admirable T19 finish at the U.S. Open for Ryan Fox after winning in Canada the week before. The strong performance with the iron play continued, as it was his third consecutive event averaging more than +1.10 strokes gained per round. His spotty short game and poor accuracy off the tee are enough reasons to be slightly concerned for the New Zealander this week, but it's hard to argue with how many birdies he makes (4.14 average) and the clear confidence he's found with his iron play. At $8,300 on FanDuel, Fox has some level of appeal, and while there is some risk to consider, the potential value for what you're paying makes him worth a nod.--Todd McGillSource: Data Golf

After impressive performances at both the Memorial Tournament and last week's U.S. Open, Jordan Spieth is showing remarkable form heading to TPC River Highlands. The former Longhorn averaged +2.17 strokes gained on approach at Oakmont and ranks 39th on the season in strokes gained off the tee (+0.302). The hectic nature of the 31-year-old on the greens hasn't been as fruitful as of late, but he's performed admirably with the putter at this venue over six career starts, including a win in 2017. If Spieth can avoid needing too many daring escape shots, we's a fine play in DFS formats.--Todd McGillSource: PGA Tour

After a T12 finish at the U.S. Open this past weekend at Oakmont, Christiaan Bezuidenhout looks to build off that in the final stretch of the PGA Tour season. This week's Travelers Championship is the final signature event of the season. This week's venue, TPC River Highlands, plays perfectly into the South African's game. Players will need to excel in driving accuracy and play around and on the greens. Bezuidenhout ranks 39th in driving accuracy (62.95%), 17th in strokes gained around the green (+0.315), and 16th in strokes gained putting (+0.431). Although his history in this event isn't great in his three starts, he did come up with a T21 finish last year, an encouraging sign that he's found a way to navigate around the course. He is a solid dark horse candidate, especially at his low price of $6,600 on DraftKings. --Jake Walker - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

Hideki Matsuyama started 2025 strong but has cooled off recently, missing three cuts and posting only two top-25 finishes in his last eight starts. He aims to rebound at the Travelers Championship, where he has competed twice, finishing T23 and T13. Success at TPC River Highlands depends on driving accuracy, approach play, and putting. Matsuyama ranks 35th in strokes gained on approach (plus-0.387 per round), 77th in putting (plus 0.099), but just 135th in driving accuracy. He is, however, in the 93rd percentile in proximity from 100–150 yards, a key range that made up 35.5% of approaches here last year. At $8,100 on DraftKings, Matsuyama offers value, but his recent form should make managers consider other options before locking him into lineups.--Dakota Legg - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

Justin Thomas was among the big-name golfers to miss the cut at the U.S. Open, but outside of majors, he has put together a strong season. He has recorded six top-10 finishes, including a win and two runner-ups. Thomas looks to regain that form at the Travelers Championship, where he has competed nine times, including back-to-back top-10 finishes. To succeed again at TPC River Highlands, he'll need to be sharp off the tee, on approach, and on the greens. Thomas ranks 17th in strokes gained from tee to green (plus-0.869 per round), 12th on approach (plus-0.601), and 15th in putting (plus-0.460). His driving accuracy can be inconsistent, ranking just 126th. However, he ranks in the 99th percentile in proximity from 100–150 yards, a key range accounting for 35.5% of approaches here last year. His ability to bounce back will be tested, but Thomas remains a solid option for fantasy managers this week.--Dakota Legg - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

Adam Scott entered Sunday at the U.S. Open just one shot off the lead but struggled with a nine-over 79 on the final day, dropping to a T12 finish. He looks to rebound at the Travelers Championship, where he has competed four times with recent finishes of T39, T19, and T13. To succeed again at TPC River Highlands, Scott will need to be sharp off the tee, on approach, and on the greens. He ranks 56th in strokes gained from tee to green (plus-0.402 per round), 96th in putting (plus-0.014), but 112th on approach (minus-0.084) and 116th in driving accuracy. Despite these struggles, he is in the 65th percentile in proximity from 100–150 yards, a key range that accounted for 35.5% of approaches here last year. Scott's success often depends on how well he putts, and at $7,600 on DraftKings, fantasy managers will need his flat stick to heat up to justify playing him.--Dakota Legg - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

Collin Morikawa recorded his ninth top-25 finish of the season with a solid T23 at the U.S. Open. He looks to carry that momentum into the Travelers Championship, where he has competed four times, making the cut twice, including a T13 finish last year. To succeed again at TPC River Highlands, he will need to be sharp off the tee, on approach, and on the greens. Morikawa ranks fourth in strokes gained on approach (plus-0.860 per round), second from tee to green (plus-1.442), and third in driving accuracy, but has struggled with his flatstick, ranking just 110th (minus-0.048). He also ranks in the 98th percentile in proximity from 100–150 yards, a key range that made up 35.5% of approaches here last year. As long as his ball-striking is on, Morikawa is a very solid choice for fantasy managers and bettors.--Dakota Legg - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

Shane Lowry missed the cut at the U.S. Open but had been putting together a strong season beforehand, including two runner-up finishes and four top-10s. He now looks to bounce back at the Travelers Championship, where he's made four appearances, including a T9 last year. Success at TPC River Highlands is influenced by driving accuracy, approach play, and putting -- areas where Lowry has mostly excelled. He ranks 28th in driving accuracy and second in strokes gained on approach (plus-1.021 per round), though his putting remains a concern, ranking 131st (minus-0.156). He's also in the 96th percentile in proximity from 100–150 yards, a key range that made up 35.5% of approaches here last year. At just $8,300 on DraftKings, Lowry is a prime bounce-back candidate and a strong value target for fantasy managers.--Dakota Legg - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

Tommy Fleetwood was one of several big-name players to miss the cut at the U.S. Open, but prior to that, he had recorded top-25 finishes in all but two of his 12 starts this season. He now looks to bounce back at the Travelers Championship, where he has teed it up four times, including two top-15 finishes. Success at TPC River Highlands is influenced by accuracy off the tee, strong approach play, and putting -- three areas where Fleetwood excels. He ranks 36th in driving accuracy, 11th in strokes gained on approach (plus-0.608 per round), and 33rd in putting (plus-0.281). He's also in the 95th percentile in proximity from 100–150 yards, a range that accounted for 35.5% of approach shots at this course last year. At $8,900 on DraftKings, Fleetwood appears underpriced and should be heavily on the radar for fantasy managers.--Dakota Legg - RotoBallerSource: Data Golf

Corey Conners (wrist) has withdrawn from the Travelers Championship due to a wrist injury sustained at the U.S. Open, which also forced him to withdraw during Sunday's final round at Oakmont. He has been replaced by Jhonattan Vegas.--Dakota Legg - RotoBallerSource: X.com

Keegan Bradley had another solid showing at the U.S. Open, finishing T33 -- his 11th top-40 result of the season. He now looks to build on that at the Travelers Championship, where he has made 14 appearances, including a win in 2023. In that victory, Bradley gained over seven strokes with his putter, an area that has been his Achilles' heel this season. He ranks just 132nd in strokes gained putting (minus–0.163 per round), but sits fourth on tour in strokes gained from tee to green (plus-1.214) and 28th on approach (plus-0.447). He also ranks in the 94th percentile in proximity from 100–150 yards, a key range that accounted for 35.5% of approach shots at this course last year. At $8,500 on DraftKings, Bradley warrants strong consideration from fantasy managers.--Dakota Legg - RotoBallerSource: Data Golf

Gary Woodland has missed three cuts in the past four PGA events. The American golfer started off decently at Oakmont but a second round 77 cost him an opportunity to play the weekend. Woodland got off to a sluggish start at the RBC Canadian Open and even the Charles Schwab Challenge. The difference was that Woodland rebounded at the Charles Schwab to nearly finish in the Top 10. That included a final round 66. It feels like years since that performance at the Texas Children's Houston Open and was the last time he shot all four rounds in the 60's. He last competed at the Travelers two years ago where he ended up T-33. Woodland is a high-risk betting option for a Top 20 (+280 via DraftKings). --Chris Wassel - RotoBallerSource: PGATour.com
